The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is clean and professional, and the price is reasonable- especially compared to other barber shops in town. I'd highly recommend it, even for someone with a curlier texture (which is what I have).

Over the weekend I went to Cut Bar as I referred by a friend. I have been to many barbers in town and I found a lot of them were very similar. Meti at Cut Bar was awesome. The shop is very clean and bright with comfortable seating. Meti did an amazing job cutting my hair in a very timely manner. Mahdi has opened a great barber shop that I have made my regular spot since he opened in 2020. Always enjoy talking to Mahdi as he is super friendly and positive. The haircuts have always been fantastic, I keep my haircuts relatively simple but I have seen other clients get nice fades with their cuts. He also always uses a straight razor on your neck to get all of those stray hairs that tend to be in that location, which is a great touch. They also do beard trims, I have had my beard done once by Madhi when I had a much longer beard. He did a great job lining it up and is very knowledgeable in how to properly trim and manage a beard to ensure that your beard doesn't lose its fullness. It is a cash only establishment, as most barber shops and the price is reasonable. It is also walk-in only (not sure if that is something that will be changed in the future, you would have to ask Mahdi) but I have never had to wait more than half an hour. If you do need to wait downtown is minutes away by foot so you can explore then head back. I would highly suggest this spot if you are looking for a great barber and you want to support local businesses.
