Decided to go here for a haircut and they took their name a little too seriously. After my haircut while walking away I felt like my neck was inflamed, thought my skin was just sensitive until I looked in a mirror and there were cuts on my neck from the razor. Hours later the cuts were starting to swell and was quite noticeable. I can't speak for all the staff, but my experience there was less than satisfactory and over priced.

Usually go there for my haircut. Girl didn't listen this last time and a trim somehow meant cut 8" of hair down to 1". She butchered it so bad I had to shave my while head down to 1/2". A year of growing the top out gone!

Driving through Kamloops after enjoying three weeks on the road with my kids, and according to them, I needed a haircut and beard trim. They found the Manhandler Barber Shop on a simple Google search, and after finding ample parking nearby it was time to get a haircut. I walked in, without an appointment, and was enthuastically greeted by the Staff, but an appointment is far better for their time management. After I explained what I was looking for I waited less than a minute before being seated in the barbers chair. Katie was excellent, and was able to fit me in between her appointments. She did a fantastic job on making me look more presentable ????, with the best part being the neck shave. This is an outstanding Barber Shop, and one that I will definitely visit again.

We REALLY enjoy The Manhandler Barber Shop. We drive from Brock downtown specifically to this barbershop. They are quick, friendly and all three of my guys come out looking great! Better than any other barber we have gone to. So why the 3 stars? Having debit available is great, however when available only by tap, not very convenient. When my husband and son went this week, they had to wait while they tried 2 different devices, syncing and resyncing only to have it not work. So then they said he could either go to a bank to get cash or use credit card. Both options an inconvenience. Why is there no actual debit machine available at this business? It can only be of benefit to you and your customers. Thankfully we are honest people, because, what if after they got their haircuts, and your "tap" doesn't work, (after multiple tries) my husband said, "ya sure I'll go get cash" never came back? This doesn't seem like the best way to conduct business.

Walked in with my 4 yr old daughter at 1pm and was out right told by the elderly lady at the counter " not this day and where is the girls mother, we don't have time for that today". I thought it was actually very impolite to be spoken to in such manor. I simply asked if there was a chance to get a trim and possibly a perm if there was an opening. And regarding the question of " where's her mother its none of there damn business if I should speak bluntl. I will never return to this place of ignorance again and will absolutely spread the word around of the lack of politeness within this business.
