Been going there now for over a year. Irina does an amazing job at cutting my hair exactly as I want! Yesterday, they still took me in for a quick 15 minute haircut at 10 minutes to closing! That's customer sevice!???? Great place in the Aylmer Mall!

Great experience with Christine. Despite not having any reviews, I took a risk and gave Luxeman a shot. Do not get thrown off by the outdated Galerie Aylmer mall in which it is located. Christine had great attention to detail and was attentive to my haircut needs. Plus there was a promotion for hairwash and head massage till end Oct 2018. That was a great bonus. All for $23 taxes incl, I have to give Luxeman a 5 star review.

Came in for a skin fade and was done very poorly. Back was not faded at all and looked like a buzz cut. Left side was also done poorly and there is a clear visible line that separates the fade itself. Overpriced as well ($35) Overall, do not recommend.

I'm highly impressed with the professionalism that they've offered while cutting my hair. I've been to many different barbers and I can by far say that they're the most experienced in Gatineau. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they got me the exact thing. Amazing service and I will definitely come back here. It is very good for the price, one of the best barber shops out there.

3 stars because you can't judge a place after one visit. I ask for a barber cut and I got a haircut a kid would ask for. Took 10 minutes (when I go to ottawa, it takes at least 20). I specified that I part my hair on the left side, and ended up with my hair so short, I can't even part it now and it's been a month. The girl working next to me looked like she did a good job.

A website much better made than several websites of companies evolving in IT, and I know what I'm talking about. I recommend 100% !! Cerise sur le gâteau, ils ont un site web où vous pouvez directement prendre rendez-vous avec toutes les plages horaires disponibles et le coiffeur de votre choix et tout ça en moins d'une minute. Un site web nettement mieux fait que plusieurs site web de firmes évoluant en IT, et je sais de quoi je parle. Je recommande à 100% !!

The woman did a very nice job but could not speak in French so i had trouble explaning what i wanted. The prices are a bit high to start with so why charge me a extra 10$ to trim my beard ?? I left a 5$ tip like i always do because it wasnt her fault but geez 43$ overall...that hurted my heart I expect to be served in French in a French province like i dont expect every one to speak English in Ontario so there ill speak my broken English

Despite everything that is going on with COVID-19, the owner & staff did an amazing job respecting social distancing rules, cleaning, were professional and most of all got a great hair cut that was much needed. I've been a customer of Chris's from Toronto and have used his precise skills on my hair for over 15 years but the last couple of years I have be more than happy to drive the extra 35-40 min to get my haircut from Chris at Vintage Barber shop, when he decided to pack up, open up shop and intrigue the Hamilton area with his artful skills. I've sat in his shop waiting for him to finish up with people that have been before me and as I sat in the waiting area for Chris, do to his popularity of skills, I noticed as he spoke to other customers ( as Chris would call them guests rather then customers) that not only does Chris have the knack of a charismatic quality barber, but also makes the natural effort to get to know you and makes you feel comfortable and welcome, in the family. What is Hamilton"s lose will be Alymer's gain but Chris will definitely be sure to see me as I go through the Ottawa region on business once a month. Good luck brother and see you in a month !

Stephen was super friendly and listened to what my son had in mind, he was kind and patient and my son absolutely loved his cut! I phoned to make an appointment because my son has a very important interview on Monday and they didn't answer the phone or call me back after I left a detailed message. Pretty bad. Messed up a fade and was cheesed when I told him it wasn't right. He tried to fix it, which made it a bit better, but not by much. All while explaining to me that there's two ways to do a fade. That might be true but if I give you a picture of exactly what I want then there's really no reason to start doing anything different than the pictures. Super unimpressed and now have to go to get it fixed tomorrow.

The best place in town for a haircut. I've been to a few places in Aylmer where the barbers are not so good, others are very expensive and some are down right scary. I needed a change, so I finally gave Luxeman barbeshop a try, I had heard nothing but good things about this place. Dropped in yesterday without an appointment, the barber, I believe she said she was the owner, took me right away, no waiting, no fuss, great cut, great price...What more could I ask for...I will definitely be back!
