I just moved into the neighborhood and been to this place once, it's just a bit high end on price but to be honest it is totally worth it, got my hair and beard styled by jay, what a guy!!! this was the first time anyone other than me trimmed my beard, and i got it done because i just knew he'd know how to do it. These guys have their own app as well so you can get an appointment and know the approximate time you should reach. recommended for sure.

I really don’t know why this place was rated 1 star by a reviewer below? This is the best barber shop in Toronto. Tom has an app that is updated in real time, so you know approximately when you will be in the chair. Tom is a perfectionist and thats why I have been coming here for about 5 years bi-weekly. The shop itself is also modern, with free wifi and Multiple televisions to keep you occupied. I highly recommend coming here!

I downloaded their app from Google play, 30 minutes later I was in their shop waiting to have my haircut. When I entered, I noticed the place looked nice, and newly-renovated. They have a lot of space for customers on-cue, but because I used their app I was put on a "virtual line-up" and was already waiting for my turn before I even got to the place. Jay cut my hair and I was really satisfied. The man knows his craft. His fades are amazing, crisp, and on-point. He got me the style that I wanted, and he took his time to cut my hair. Will come back.

I'll never be coming here again. For about 3-4 years i had never gotten my hair cut anywhere except for Tom's. On Saturday morning's i would arrive there at 7 a.m with hopes of being the first customer of the day. I'always gave Tom a 5-10 $ tip for every cut. I was always polite and respectful. I've always recommended Tom's Barber Shop to all and anyone who was ever looking for a place to get their haircuts. I've done everything i could possible to show my love for this place and ultimately it was all for nothing. In return Tom will put customers ahead of you even when you had arrived before them or were before them on the app. Tom will play with your time as if it isn't important. lastly even with all your years of dedicated patronage Tom will try to send you to other barbers as opposed to just treating you like you are a valued and respected customer. I've never had a barber shop where I have had so many negative experiences but still dedicated my loyalty to, only to have my loyalty stepped and spat all over.

Saw Amper- very professional, down to earth - got a nice fade; he is great at what he does. You book using the app downloaded on google play store with an estimated time. The place is clean and follows strict covid protocols. There is tons of parking. Highly recommend if you're looking for a haircut!

The app sucks, buggy, not secure, and honestly no need to have an app. I dont need to download an app, sign up, spend 20 mins to “try” to book a time. I barely use facebook, i dont need an app for toms barbershop… Just creat a website plain and easy. No need to reinvent the wheel. I called and they said please use the app for booking, well you know what fix your app… So I go in, i am like open to the idea, app sounds cool, trying to innovate, and changing the status quo and all that bs. Paying time and it is only cash. Lol. Barber shop with an app but only cash, oh you better use the atm on the spot and pay the 3-4$ fee plus whatever charges your bank charges. It is 2021, it is ironic that you have an app, and you dont have an online payment option? If you don’t accept cards i get it, but idk maybe allow etransfers? Not coming back because it made the whole experience just worse. So many barriers that i can easily avoid going to another barbershop.

Went in looking to get a trim/clean up because my hair has been getting a little shaggy. Was hoping for some easy scissor work to cut two or three inches off. He said he wouldn’t do it. I was told my hair was too long and that I had a “girl’s haircut”. It’d be a little more reasonable if I had hair down to my shoulders and was looking for a fancy cut. I guess if you own the place you can choose who you serve. I took my business elsewhere.

The good news about the re-emergence of barbershops is that, we finally get to avoid hair salons. The downside to the renewed popularity of barbershops is that too many unqualified players are entering the scene. I came here once for a haircut and it was good. However, the second I time I stopped by to see if they might have any openings I could snatch, one of the barbers finishing a smoke by the door realized he forgot to flip the open sign and told me they were closed (even though a couple of barbers were lounging inside). Decided to try the place again today and, big disappointment. I called first to see if they might have any openings that same afternoon. The initial response was "no", nothing until tomorrow...which quickly flipped to "you know what, I can get one of my guys to take care of you at 4. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and of course, the guy I was booked didn't show. Bottom line: we live in the busiest city in Canada. Toronto puts a lot of demands on our time and therefore time comes at a premium. Time = Valuable. Will not give this shop another shot.

Literally the best fades in the city. Moved from the neighbourhood, haven't found a single barber that can do it like Tom do! Guy's got skills. Heads up - first come first serve (that's normal) but the waits can be extensive. Get there early or expect anywhere from 45-90 min waits. Quality takes time!

Booked a haircut the day before for 12:30pm using their app. The time is an estimate, which is okay. That time changed multiple times, from 12:30pm to 2pm, then to 1:58pm, then to 1:50pm, then to 2:10pm. At that time I decided to walk to the barbershop because the time hadn’t changed for a few minutes, so I thought I’d get there before anything changes. As I’m walking there the time changed to 2:40pm, so I decided to walk back home since I live very close by (about a 2 minute walk) and didn’t want to wait outside for 30 minutes. After arriving home I noticed that my appointment time changed to 2:50pm, and then to 3pm. Finally, their app said I was next at 3:12pm (it said “You’re next!”). So, as I’m walking there again (about 1 minute away), I check the app and it says “You’re next in line. Next time slot 4pm.” Not sure how I went from being next to next in line and then having to wait another hour. I walked to their barbershop twice in one day, only to find that by the time I got there my appointment time had changed. I ended up canceling my appointment because I had other things to do later that day. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me either. This is the second time. In summary, don’t expect to get your haircut during the time-slot you booked or within 2 hours of that time-slot. You’d basically have to take the day off of work to get your haircut there because the times change so much and so randomly that you can’t really predict when you’ll actually get your haircut - you nearly have to be ready as soon as it says you’re next. The haircuts are good, that’s the only reason for the one star. Otherwise, it seems that anyone can jump in line, so there’s no real point in being able to “book an appointment” the day before and hence no real reason for their app.

Nineteen bugs for a haircut and no appointment needed was fine but the process and the result was horrible. I showed the Barber a picture, but what I get was the "standard of the shop" obviously: extra high fade. So, I complained while clipper work, but I just got the answer "Who is the barber - you or me?" It wasn´t Tom, but a darkskinned barber, either way Tom showed same cutting style on client´s sitting next to me. At least Tom was very friendly.

We get to Toronto from NYC a few times a year and always make it a point to get to Tom's place for cuts. I have 5 boys with all different hair types and it's hard finding a barber that can handle all of us. Lucky for us Tom is meticulous as he is patient. My 14 year old gets the most complicated cut with pin straight hair and Tom masters it! He turns on the xbox when we arrive is super responsive when making appointments and always friendly. I guess that's the Canadian way.

Terrible place. Walk in, ask if they take walk ins, he says yes just sign right in. I do, he says a 40 minute wait, no big deal. Go out for coffee and breakfast with my girlfriend, come back 45 minutes later, I'm the only one waiting, sweet, I should be next right? Wrong, someone else walks in and what do you know they get served before me. This happens with 3 more people. Screw your service and little boys club you got going on, I'll take my money elsewhere

Great place to get a good haircut. They have an App that you can book an appointment on. I booked an appointment for 5:20 pm but they had a cancelation so they called me at 4:30 pm and I was there at 4:40 getting my haircut. Price is a little high at $37.
