*Update* after getting my haircut here for about 2 months something that ALWAYS happens with ANY barber right off post is a medium skin turns into a high skin fade. This happens 9/10 times on any barbershop and it shouldnt but hey its the truth.. With that said, my only critique is that 2 (not all) barbers here tend to be rough around the neck, I've left with abrasions/cuts around my neck. This is due to them just trying to hurry and bust out a haircut or force of habit. Other than that you'll get as good of haircut as the other places around post. Overall my review is 4 stars, cause you're not going to be in a chair 30mins and they DO have a sense of pride in their work.

This place is actually really good. I only pay $10 for my haircut and I couldn't be happier. These people are very quick and skilled in what they do. It all starts with an amazing haircut. After the haircut they wrap a steamed towel over you. MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES AFTER THEY DO THIS. Then they grab all the left over hair off your head with towel and then give you nice enjoyable neck massage just for $10. While I was not expecting this it was definatly am experience better than any other barber shop in my last 3 duty stations. I know I marked it down a star and that is because they don't speak the best english so it is hard to communicate with them, but other than that I couldn't be happier!!!

Great place for a hair cut - the staff is very friendly and they do a much better job than the barbershop in the PX. They also have the vacuum systems like the PX which is a huge plus.

Friendly service. The 2 ladies that work there are very nice, they know what they’re doing, and don’t charge a lot. I recommend going here instead of the px. I also enjoy their hot towel and neck massages after a cut.

very bad experience, told the lady to give me a low “skin” fade and take just a little bit off the top instead she takes half my hair off from the top and gives me a high fade not a skin fade at all and finishes in 5-10 mins and at the end starts massaging me around my neck and if felt like she was chocking me definitely would not go ever again she messed up my hair.

Men’s $10 hair cut and I can say, you get what you pay for. The fade I asked for wasn’t blended what so ever, Then after she was done cutting my hair she forgot to line my hair and when I asked her to she charged me extra and was super aggressive and left cuts on my forehead. So unhappy with my hair cut and wouldn’t recommend what so ever.

This has been my barbershop since I got here. I go in today and the guy doesn’t know what a low taper is. So I say okay a low fade will work today. Messes my hair up. When I said I wanted them to just do a medium fade to fix it the Barber in the chair next too me got confrontational and left me sitting there shocked. Walked out, and now I need a new barber to fix my head.

I’ve been stationed at Fort Drum for a little over four years, and in that time, Ms. Kim’s barbershop has been my saving grace. I have been going to Kim’s for the past 4 years. They have never given me a bad haircut! They are just like Cheers, where everybody knows your name, they are always happy to see you, and treat you like a celebrity. I will never recommend a barber shop as highly as I can recommend Kim’s!

This was first time at this barbershop. I explained how I wanted my hair cut and she did just as I asked. It was a very good haircut so I will be back for another before I leave to go home. This will be my go to barber shop @ Ft. Drum. Also, prices for Military are $10 and non Military is $12. Not bad.
