I checked the hours on google which says open at 8:30am. I called to make an appointment but no one picked up and their voicemail says they open at 8am. I went on website to make an appointment but there's no way to make one so I drove down there. Store was closed and lights off. I double checked store hours posted on their door and it should have been open over an hour ago. No sign to say why they are closed. I see below from other reviews that this is a common problem.

I have tried to get my haircut twice here in the past. The first time I went there, the lady said she was booked for the day, understandable. I called today and asked for their hours for the day (Canada Day), which I was told “I don’t know”. I asked if I could make an appointment for later today and was told “we don’t have that available”. I felt sorry for even asking.

This barber shop is much more than any other haircut place you can go to, it is a place where people who like to have a pleasant and welcoming experience go time and time again for top-notch service, I whole heartedly reccomend anyone to go here and I always will. Hot towels, straight razor shaves, hair cuts, beard trims, and fantastic art on the walls. Plus if you like small talk you can have it, if your like me and you don't like small talk that's just as good.

Okay, I need to write a gushing review. I brought my 18 month old in for his first proper haircut and the barber Kandace was a marvel. Now as you might imagine, giving a toddler a haircut is like trying to wrangle a miniature bull. But this did not stop Kandace! She had toys to distract, cartoons on the television screen and rock-solid determination to get the job done. She did not come with an attitude of "it's your job to control your son and my job to cut hair." Rather, she brought an attitude of "we're all in this together," and I greatly appreciated it. All this for a reasonable price to. I am certain that she would bring the same attitude and skill to the rest of the services offered. Good price to. Recommended.
