I've gone here for 3 or 4 cuts and have left very happy every time. Quick in and quick out, Tim is a wicked guy and a deadly barber. Discuss what sort of cut you're looking for and he'll make it happen. $18 tax included, $16 for students.

Walked in and played Super Mario Bros. while I waited for my turn in the chair. The barber was very pleasant and skilled at his craft! The cost of the cut was also very reasonable. I recommend getting your haircut at the Uppercut Barbershop! ????✂️

This place is awesome! I would go back if I'm ever in the area again. He fixed up my beard and head really good. This is a great spot for wandering travellers to get a little off the top. Very cool feel to the place. I got to play Super Mario World (Originally for SNES) on the wii there. The barber is great to talk to and share stories with. I went there July 22 or 23 2017.

Great little barbershop located in downtown St. John's with a very skilled, friendly and personable owner/operator. My haircut was perfect, the conversation was great and I sure left very happy, can't ask for much more. A couple notes on the shop: it's walk in only but don't worry if you have to wait there are retro Nintendo games to play while you pass the time. They take cash and credit cards. Stop by for a cut, you'll leave satisfied.

Amazing haircut. He's always just up for a chat and it in an interesting exposed foundation basement unit with a fireplace. The Wii was a nice touch. Watch your head on the door.

The barber is really friendly, but i had this feeling he is overstimating his skills. I told him how to cut my hair, but he were so overconfident and cut away too much in his own way, of course i trusted him cuz of his long years experience, but still i ended up paying full price for a bad haircut that I don't like!! And I think he realized at some point he made a mistake, that's why he was keep saying: that's just hair, it will grow anyway.

Really nice haircuts very good price. Barber is very friendly and you will always have a conversation. Just watch your head entering. And the haircuts tend to be quick, tidy and nice.

Walk in service puts this shop above it's competitors in my opinion. Tim is a great barber, he actually talks with the customers and the wait is pretty short. I really have issue with poor customer service but Tim (forgive the bad pun) does punch way above it's weight class in this regard. Thanks again for the best haircut and customer service I have had in St. John's.
