I initially rated this barber at 4 stars because I was slightly upset that he cut my beard shorter than I had wanted him to, however he called me to find out how he could improve for next time, and once I relayed to him why I was upset he said he would remember for next time and communicate better to make sure it's done how I wanted. Unfortunately because I travel so much for work it might be a while before I'm back, but I quite liked my haircut and really recommend you try it out yourself.

Salah is the best barber I have ever been to and believe me in the 47 years I have been on this earth I have been to many. He is an old school barber that stays on top of styles and trends while at the same time customizing his service to meet your needs. He pays as much attention to a beard trim or a shave as he does to a cut. Salah is very professional but creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. His new store on Haultain feels like it should always have been there. I live in the neighborhood and every time I walk by I get a wave or a smile. I can't recommend him enough. Frankly, and I have told him this, he should charge more so if you love the experience and the result as much as I do, make sure to tip him because his prices are too low for what you get in return!

I walked in to enquire about an appointment (I had seen a sign the other day saying walk-ins welcome ). I explained I wanted a shave (for cancer) and he indicated that he could do that - a client had just left. I explained I wanted a #2 shave around ears, sides and back and #3 on top. He cleaned and sanitized the area, invited me to sit; he was wearing a mask. I put on my mask and gloves, sat, and watched his fingers move with a speed and accuracy I never have seen! He seemed to know exactly what I wanted and I got it. I am super-impressed with Salah. Very, very good hair shave and a very pleasant man to deal with! I will be in touch again.

Salah is the type of Barber that would be common 50 years ago. You walk in the door he takes your coat and greets you like an old friend. You can see this guy is dedicated to his craft and still has so much passion for it, his attention to detail and meticulous nature pretty much guarantees a perfect haircut. I almost don't want to give him five stars because I don't want everybody else to know about him, selfish I know, but you can't blame a guy. As long as Salah is working, he's going to be my barber.

UPDATE: I’ve been regularly going to see Salah for my haircuts for at least 4 months now (I go every three weeks) and I don’t feel like I could or would ever go see anyone else! He is super friendly very easy to get on with! Best haircut I’ve had in ages. Straight forward, easy and exactly what I wanted! Online reservation system is easy to navigate & understand. The shop is new, very bright & clean. On street 1 hour parking available in front of the shop on Haultain. Salah will be my go to barber moving forward.

He's incredibly skilled with scissors, clippers and even a straight razor blade. It was probably the most refreshing haircut I've ever had possibly due to the fact that he added mint to the hair mist, which was surprising and kind of amazing. My hair is thick and straight and needed restyling. Salah was done in 30 minutes. So if all you need is a trim,even faster.
