As a queer female, venturing into a barber shop can be quite daunting. Ashe gave me the warmest welcome and the best cut I've ever had. That was 6 years ago. I have not had anyone else shear me since. Price is right and if you don't have a vehicle, his new location on the water is a relatively easy commute either on the #15 bus or along the Songhees walkway.

Very very unique place in Victoria to get your haircut! Very affordable, and worth the experience for a floating haircut! You can even take a water taxi to directly (literally) in front of this location.

This was my first visit to NuMan Grooming and Ashe did not disappoint. The float house in the WestBay marina is a tranquil, unique and beautiful setting. It certainly added to the experience. This was my 1st time getting manscaped I found NuMan groomed created a professional experience for me where I felt comfortable, from beginning to end! Ashe then gave me a haircut, and calling it that doesn’t do it Justice. I’m thinning and he sculpted my hair and it’s sexy and full looking. We finished wish a beard trim. If you are someone with ample body hair like myself or just need a tidy up treat yourself to a fresh up with Ashe. Covid has seen my hibernating and not taking the best care of myself. After my visit to NuMan I feel amazing and refreshed. The menu on the website is clear and easy, pricing included. Reach out and see what he can do for you. It’s worth it!!!

I just booked the third haircut at NuMan Groomed for my 13 year old son and I. It made me think about what a great business Ashe operates. We stumbled across NuMan Groomed when on camping next door Salish Seaside RV. Ashe was able to accommodate my son and I in short order. Our haircuts were the best we have ever had! Now we drive 40 minutes from Mill Bay to tap into his expertise! We highly recommend Ashe for mens' haircuts.
