My previous barber closed (switched profession) and haven't had a real haircut since. Looked around the different places close the where I lived and found Mr Barber Downtown with many 5 stars. Happy to join the 5-star group because Domz (hope I spelled the nickname right) gave me an awesome haircut and I'll definitely be returning going forward.

Beard shaping was OK. Could communicate more proactively about what is happening "next" along the way, especially when the customer expresses it's their first time ever having a beard trim and first time under a straight razor. Really only had two complaints: 1) bottom shape of the beard was a little crooked - I pointed it out in the shop and was told I was just tilting my head when looking in the mirror 2) asked for neck portion of beard to be removed, but it seems like he only straightened up the neckline - I will have to do some additional work to bring the line forward a bit more. When price is factored in, the value is OK. Would use them again in a pinch, but will definitely consider alternative services first.

Best barbershop in Edmonton. Ryan and the rest of the staff are amazing. I’ve been going here for regular haircuts the last year and each time it’s been a great experience. Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent!! Finally if you come here after a certain number of haircuts you get a free one.

Got my first proper haircut and beard trim of the Corona virus era today with Rayyan/Ryan, and it was a pretty great experience. Ryan was super thorough, very attentive and made good conversation very easily--and I say this as someone who used to avoid haircuts to cut out small talk. The place is very clean and the guys working there seem lots of fun. I've just moved to Edmonton and I think that I found my new barber.

My youngest brother gets his hair cut here from Ryan and he has an incredible experience everytime! My brother doesn’t like getting his hair cut often but every time he goes to see Ryan he is always impressed by his ability to make any customer that sits in his chair feel relaxed, at ease, and comfortable. Ryan makes great conversation and always leaves his customers feeling and looking great. My brother always gets fantastic cuts done by Ryan and he is already looking forward to coming back again. Was not a 5* because when I approached to pay, the tip % started at 25%... I don't see why, specially at this time of our lives, you guys made this choice! I sure can set up any %, but it's a bit too much to have that set up.... Bedside that, the haircut was very good, as it should be, ad it was made by a professional and the price is honest. The local is nice, comfy chair and good environment!

I started going to Mr. Barber 2.5 years ago when I worked downtown. The location was convenient and I needed a haircut. I found that the prices were reasonable and the staff to be personable and professional. I've since moved to the deep north side of Edmonton and no longer work downtown. But by golly, I still head downtown when my hair gets out of control. 10/10 would recommend.

I usually get a skin mid fade and Ryan always does it right, I would highly recommend him. Never been disappointed by Ryan and never had a bad haircut here, one of my favorite spots in Edmonton. Clean and professional barbers and I'll definitely keep coming to this location.
