I've never been to a barber where they actually took the time to explain why a certain hairstyle worked better for my shape over another. He even gave me tips on which way to comb my hair. Saleem was very diligent, timely, and gave me a good cut. He's also a very interesting person. Would recommend.

Second of all these guys are the friendliest and most hospitable guys I’ve ever met! Super quick and lots of care put into the cut. You can tell they are very experienced! This place is one of the chillest Barber's I've ever been too. Whether you want a classic cut, a sick fade, or the best design artist in Ottawa (Pedro is the man to ask for if you want that which I highly recommend, I get it done every few weeks with him and I'm always impressed,) this is definitely the place to go!.

One of the best haircuts I've ever had and it cost me all of $12 (though I hope I compensated for the low price with my tip). The barber shop is bright, kept clean, and the barbers are incredibly efficient and quick without sacrificing quality. Just walked out of my first cut with them five minutes ago and already I can't recommend them enough.

On Saturday Night at 6:50pm I entered the Barber Shop to ask for a quick simple Beard line up which usually takes around 5 minutes. There were 1 or 2 others present in The Market's Barber Shop. As the last guy is being serviced, the so called Leader of the clan of barbers steps up and says we cannot cut your beard because "I have to go home for Ramadan", (which usually start 8:30pm at sun down, usually people go home around 8:00pm). By this time it is 7:05pm, I ask him the reason why and he says that its 7:05pm and we cannot cut your beard because you are late and that he will check the cameras if I want. I tell him to check the cameras and does not respond. At this point I offer $40 to one of the Barbers to do my beard. Proceeding, the short tempered and rudely unprofessional Leader Barber spoke to his fellow employee in arabic, telling him not to do my Beard (assuming I did not speak the Language). Following this incident, he then verbally harassed me within the establishment, At this point I did not feel comfortable getting my beard done so I decided to Leave. As my girlfriend and I walked out the Leader incited his friends to taunt me as one of them said, "come back" while raising his hands showcasing a fist. This is not how you run an establishment, as I am a Business Owner myself; lying, threatening, delaying service in favour of friends, and charging customers at wildly different prices, are not an ethical business practices. This morning I looked up different barber shops and decided on Paulos (a block away). I would recommend them if you are out of town like myself, do not have a barber and want a fast, quality service.

Just called this place at 10:15 AM, its April 23rd 2018. Well, the guy picked up half asleep, no english. I asked which shop it was since he didnt introduce himself. My next question was how much is a haircut plus a beard shave. He said check the website. I found that a little lazy and unprofessional so i asked him why he would say that. Then he hung up. Fire that guy and also people, beware of this dump

Great place for an affordable haircut. The person cutting my hair genuinely cared about style, design, and my thoughts on the hair as well as his professional advice. Spent good amount of time touching up the cut and making sure everything was in good shape. Far better than the places that just cut it up however they want in 20 minutes, quickly run a razor over the head, and call it a day.

Will not return. Acceptable, haircut. Overshot the crown of my head slightly when clipping the sides, which I will have to wait a month at least to fix. They took less than ten minutes for the cut despite there being no line and no appointments. I will look elsewhere for next time.
