Just had the best experience I’ve ever had at a Barber. I’ve tried 4 in Boston, 1 in Vancouver, and 2 others on the island. Four Crows was by far the best haircut I’ve had! The barber understood my hair like the back of his hand. Also, I hadn’t had a coffee the morning of, and my barber offered me one when I came in. Maybe it’s overly dramatic to say, but that coffee was a life saver lol. Thank you!

Went there for the first time a couple of days ago. The shop looked well designed, welcoming and clean. Got offered coffee. Jake has done a great job with a buzz haircut... he even did my eyebrows, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to find a way home with those bad boys. I didn’t notice a sink for hair wash but it wasn’t really needed since I live right across the street.

Just walked in off the street hoping for a quick haircut and I was surprised with a great Barber shop experience. Excellent customer service paired with an equally outstanding interior decor and atmosphere. I get the sense that the owner really poured in his own heart and soul into the place. I had my hair cut by one of Mike's apprentices and I would be happy to come back here again. This place is very very new so don't be put off by the low number of reviews. I have no doubt that Four Crows will establish itself as one of Vancouver Island's finest barber shops.

Expert hair cut, detailed with care. Jake did a terrific job and demonstrated excellent skills cutting my hair and very good customer relations skills. The shop was clean and had a very homey and inviting feel. I was offered a delicious espresso and was in and out in a short time. I highly recommend trying Four Crows which is conveniently located in Central Nanaimo, on Bowen Road, next to End of The Roll Carpet. Lots of free parking as well. An excellent experience.

Easy to book, and great service! I go to Jake periodically (farther from home so not regular). He is great, and always open to change or ask questions on style. Haven't tried the other barbers, but from what I see looks good! Have only had regular haircut here so far.

A few weeks ago I made an appointment for a disabled person which I mentioned when I made the call. We were 7 minutes late for the appointment and it was given away without a phone call. I understand you are an appointment only shop but you weren't that day as there was clearly someone waiting to get in that you didn't turn away. It was very embarrassing and the person we dealt with was unapologetic and condescending. You are a barber shop, loose the attitude and remember that the most successful shops are that way because of their reputations. I would not recommend this shop for anyone with a disability.

Popped in yesterday to get a haircut at Four Crows with Josh and had a fantastic overall experience. Not only did I get a great cut, but really enjoyed the atmosphere and conversation with all the barbers. Took my teenage son back today to get him a cut with Josh and again, great experience. So much so that my son actually walked out of the shop saying “that’s the best haircut I’ve ever had!” and I agree, the best he’s had. Something like that does wonders for a young man’s confidence. Today I went to Four Crows for a beard trim. After finally letting my beard grow without hastily shaving it off during the initial awkward stages (about 6 weeks), I was very hesitant to trust someone with trimming my beard (I've had a "barber" mess it up before which scarred me lol - also I've messed it up myself hundreds of times) So I searched google for "beard trim Nanaimo" and Four Crows was one of, if not THE top result. I figured 'what can I lose?'... other than my beard of course... so I called and got an appointment set for an hour later with 'Ashley'. As soon as I walked in I was immediately impressed by the decor. Super dope vibe in the shop. While some men may have doubts about a woman's ability to take care of your beard, I am confirmed that to be quite the opposite. Ashley is a MF PRO. I explained to her essentially what I was going for and she ran me through the 'exact' logistics for what we are going to do. End result, is I didn't lose my entire 6 weeks of 'work' growing my beard, and now also don't look like I was just found by rescuers after being lost at sea for months. I highly recommend this barber shop, as well as Ashley. Such a dope spot with dope people. Peace.
