Great place, great people. Awesome barbers. Plus you can grab coffee too. Very reasonably priced so it doesn't break the bank. Walking in is quite tough because they're always busy so always try to make an appointment a few days ahead.

My first time at Town Barber was amazing and beyond my expectation. For 1 year, i have been to many cheap $10 barber in Toronto and got the bad result. One day before Christmas this year, i decided to pay more at Town Barber ($30 no extra), i booked an appointment with Dexter. He was very nice and patient when i tried to ask him for my haircut. I found a little bit difficult to explain but he still listened, understood what i meant and did the best job. I will be back next time

Safe to say I had the best haircut in the 25 years of my life over here. I've always been pretty anxious about new places because more often than not, you don't get what you want. But Andrew could totally gauge exactly what I wanted and even had useful suggestions for me to try out. I was super happy with how it turned out and Andrew was super friendly as well! You've got a regular in me. Highly recommend!

I didn’t get the haircut I had asked for. I showed the barber a picture of what I was looking to get and asked her if she understood what I was asking for. She said she did. Even after she started cutting my hair, I wanted to make sure she was clear on what I wanted. So I stopped her and showed her another picture. She thanked me and said that was exactly she was going to do. After she was done and I got to see myself in the mirror, it was not at all what I had asked for. I didn’t wanna be rude so I just thanked her, payed for the haircut and left. I would give them another chance before I switch barbers.

They provided a nice haircut for me multiple times. Love the staff, love the vibe. My roommate and I are very loyal customers and will continue to be! For a men's cut (no shave etc.) it's $30 per tip. It's not like that's cheap, but you won't find other places much cheaper, and you certainly won't find one that's cheaper AND has the same vibe. Give this a go.

I just tried Town Barber for the first time the other day and am very happy with my cut. The barber I had was extremely friendly and professional. I’m not super well versed on how to describe what I want my hair to look like so thankfully my barber was really helpful at interpreting and explaining what he was going to do. I also have curly hair and sometimes I end up leaving with way less hair then I would like. This haircut is really excellent though and I felt like I got exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t know Dundas was closed and was late for my appointment, I hate being late but that barber I saw was very kind and understanding. I really appreciated him fitting me in despite my lateness. He did an amazing job despite being on a bit of a time crunch. Great rate and a really awesome service in return.

Awesome barber shop! The decor inside has got an old school vibe to it, awesome to even just look at. My boyfriend got a haircut here over the weekend by Dexter, the cut looked great and Dexter is really nice. Major Treat, a little coffee shop, is also located at the front of the shop! I grabbed a drink from there while I wait for my boyfriend to get his hair cut, great location all around.

Dexter and Jenalle did an excellent job on both my kid’s (10 and 19) hair. Total pros. Dexter was great with my quiet 10 year-old and put him at ease. We usually go to the Dundas location with a stop at the Lakeview diner next door afterwards. This is our first time at the Queen location, as Dundas was booked up. The Queen spot has a great feel and is well designed. Everyone is laid back and kind. It’s very relaxed just like their Dundas spot.

My haircut was great, barber did a good job. However, people at the till were not at all friendly, and when my lack of knowledge on the terminology of a haircut made things inconvenient, another barber stepped in and simply said “what you are saying makes no sense” and proceeded to lecture me and tell me that my barber could not do his job if i “did not know what i wanted”. I was embarrassed and left feeling abused. Worst experience ever, never thought this would be possible in canada!!!

I was looking to get the lines of my beard lined up properly as my beard was a mess, and walked into Town Barber as it is close to my apartment. Didn't know what to expect as I had never been here before, and am generally quite particular on how I wanted it to look. The gentleman who lined my beard up was very friendly and knew exactly what I wanted after showing him visual references and explaining what I wanted. Super happy with the end result. It was exactly what I was looking for. They used a straight razer to form the lines and used a hot towel on my face to smooth everything out. Highly recommend. I will be coming back here regularly. $25 bucks seemed like a fair price to pay for this service.

Excellent barber shop! They took time to discuss what haircut I would like and made suggestions and explained why they were making those suggestions based on my hair type. End result was a haircut that really suited me well and matched well with my natural hair features. Prices are very fair ($30 after tax as of Jan. 2019) and the place is both comfortable and inviting. Conversation and company were both great.
