Not only by cutting my hair Exactly the way I asked but with also the little extras as in trimming my eyebrows,shaving the back of my neck and following up with a hot towel and a relaxing head massage . Great experience at the Barbershop bar. It’s always a challenge to find a good barber but we got LUCKY finding Anna for our first haircut after just moving from Alberta. The beer and haircut is a great deal too. My one constructive criticism is that there is a bit of a fruit fly issue. But, having just gone through a closure from a pandemic I’m sure they can get it under control and business operations resume.

I went in to have my Goatee trimmed up, the guy that did it was fast with the clippers, I asked him to even out the goatee since covid caused me to need to cut it at home, and it had alot of dead ends. He was curteous, however he didn't listen to what I wanted. Not all issues can be fixed with a trimmer, sometimes you need beard oil,and an application of heat to remove the (pubic hair)curl which I asked for to straighten the hair, and the person failed to do. When I asked for beard oil he produced hair oil instead, it's not the same. When I got home I had to actually trim a few hairs he missed in his rush. I won't be returning to this place. It's nice and all but, fell far short of a MAN"S SHOP in terms of beard care.

This place is the COOLEST! Great styling team on the salon side, and equally cool bartenders and staff on the bar side. Easy to relax, grab a drink and get a haircut. The patio outside is chic and in a great spot just off the main drag of busy Howard. A great spot to relax and have a drink and grab some food! I went in for a haircut and showed Anna exactly what I wanted with a picture. She proceeded to cut as fast as she seemingly could and it looks absolutely nothing like the picture I showed her, which really wasn’t a lot to ask for at all. I am autistic and found it impossible to try to speak up during the cut to tell her she was not doing what I asked for at all and rather tried to avert my eyes. I am not impressed, I hate the cut, it’s not what I asked for despite showing a picture, it was so clearly rushed (she kept looking at her watch over and over), and I won’t be back.

I hate to say it, but I liked the old shop better. The new owners are going in a strange direction by doing women's hair at the 'Mans' shop. There isnt enough chairs to remain a quick in and out cut shop with lengthy dye jobs going on in half of the 4 chairs. Although the haircuts are still good. Music volume is well above the level of background filler. The bar attached seems gimmicky and slightly forced, but time will tell. I'll be looking elsewhere for my cuts just to see what's out there even though I have been a loyal customer since day one. I wish them luck in the future with their new clientele. PS. change the name to something more appropriate to avoid future confusuon and disappointment from men.

I request Anna when I go there now because she has a great eye for what works for me and always takes her time. Went here as I was unable to go to my usual place. Really just wanted a very very minimal trim and clean up. Scheduled a hair cut with Danielle. Although it is overall a good haircut, it is not at all what I asked for and is a lot shorter than a trim/clean up. Neck hairs were not even shaved down properly. I have a photo shoot scheduled so this is twice as disappointing as I was overall please with my look prior to the hair cut. If you want a good hair cut, you can definitely get one here but, make sure you explain in excruciating detail what you want and don't want.

Cole personally did mine and my brother's hair. Cole is a personable barber and I enjoyed my time with Cole. I think Cole's strength is that he can make conversation with any age range. Whether you are brining in your young son or are a little bit later in years, Cole will make you feel at home. Cole will take good personal care with you. Had an appointment for 4:30 and arrived at 3:30. I was early but did not mind waiting because I had nothing else to do as I just left from work. Let them know I was there and waiting and they said they'd be with me in a few minutes. 4:00 appointment leaves and 5:00 comes in. 5:00 is taken immediately despite the fact I've been sitting since 3:30 for my 4:30 appointment. Being told they'd be with me in a few minutes was the last and only time I was acknowledged. 10/10 would not recommend. Thoroughly disappointed because I heard good things but will definitely not be back.

Overpriced for the quality of the haircut. My haircut is very straightforward and I recently had a haircut so it was pretty clear how it's cut/styled. They also didn't wash my hair and they didn't use a straight razor at the end. The workers are nice though and the place itself is nice. I'll be sticking with my regular barber from now on though.

Scheduled an appointment for a cut and was told only 1 barber was working, and there was limited availability. When I arrived there was no offer for a shampoo, and when she asked what I was looking for she was not sure how to proceed with the cut and confused. One other barber was leaving (Jesse, I believe) and he gave her some quick pointers and made a few cuts to get started, made me comfortable and that she would be good, but the whole time said he hoped it was ok and that she would have to ask her teacher for suggestions - for the record I have normal length hair and just wanted a trim to keep length and clean it up. Throughout the evening the clerk at the front continued to book 4 additional walk ins for the 1 barber, she was noticeably rushed, and never confirmed or double checked with me with regards to the cut as she was rushing. No mirror check to see the back of the head and poor lighting creating shadows didn't allow me to see how bad it was until I got home. By far the worst haircut ever, I did send a comment directly to the company website expressing my concern and never received any follow up. The service wasn't terrible and the atmosphere was normal, however, the barber was clearly a beginner and shouldn't have been on her own. Man Shop, do not schedule a new barber on her own, do not overbook, and please pay attention and address customer concerns. There are so many barber shops to choose from in this city, I will be choosing another for my next cut.

Never listened, Very rushed, completed my hair cut in 11 mins. Angelina was the only one available, I thought I could take a chance. Wrong decision. I even showed picture of what I wanted. She didn't even put enough water or comb the hair to use the clippers appropriately. When I pointed out my my hair us uneven and shorter on the back, she cut some more from the front. Horrible experience not worth 28$.

We have been there 4 times in the past 3 weeks. We always order a charcuterie board. Last night we also order the meatball heroes. The environment is great, staff are friendly.
