I received one of the worst haircuts of my life here! I suspected the barber wasn't listening to me when I described what I wanted and unsurprisingly, he's got it totally wrong. I asked for a grade 3 on the sides above the ear and graded up to keep length on top. He basically cut to a grade 3 all the way to the crown of my head. Not only is it totally different to what I asked for I didn't look anything like this when I initially sat down. He was completely distracted by the news on the TV, wasn't concentrating and now his business is receiving another bad review for a terrible haircut. AVOID!

Being new to the city, I had a hard time knowing where to go for a haircut, but I heard good things about this place and was not disappointed when I went. Walid was a consummate professional who listened to what I wanted and was able to give me a perfect haircut, even though my hair has caused trouble for most other barbers I've come across. More than just a technical success, he also created and environment with good conversation that made it clear that I wasn't just another number, but a customer whose haircut mattered. I can't recommend this place highly enough, and plan on coming back every time I need a cut.

Please, fix the operational hours that the barbershop is open. Arrived at 7:40 on Thu and the doors were already closed. So, people still has word and make plans based in what you guys put at the internet. Complete waste of time travel to the location!

I've been going here for years, but I think I'm done with this place. Each time I go I'll describe in detail what I want, then show a photo so they can see what I mean, and each time they just kind of do what they want. They almost always leave the sides too long and the top too short. I like the atmosphere, but they just don't listen to you.

This is the worst barber shop I've ever been to in my entire life. They will lie to your face claiming that they can do what you're asking for and if their knowledge is questioned in any way, they'll ask you to leave. Rude and unreasonable. My haircut is ruined and so is my day. Choose barbers, not butchers.

Beautiful shop and fantastic service. I started going here two years ago when I lived in the area but even now that I moved to the Annex I keep coming back. The barbers are professionals and I love the antique atmosphere and furniture. They're going to remain my barber shop of choice as long as I live in the city.

Used to frequent the Bay St. location for over 10 years. Now I mostly come here because it's less busy. This is the right place for a no nonsense haircut. Very rarely will get a sub par cut, depending on the barber.

I used to go here all the day while in Toronto. And barbers were really good. I recently came here when I was in Toronto and seemed everything went downhill. The Barber cutting my hair was more focused on his phone every 2 min while doing the haircut. At $30 plus tip I rather take my business to a place that has a passion for cutting hair. I am dissapointed to see one my Toronto barbershops go down the hill like this.

The quality of the cuts has gone down over the past few years and the price has skyrocketed. The last three times the barber has parted my hair much lower and cut the hair accordingly. So if I part my hair where I usually do the hair doesn't lie properly. The price of the cut is now $30 dollars, not long ago it was $15. I won't be going back.

The barber did not listen to what I said, or understand what I was saying, but acted like he did. He cut off more than half the length of my beard, when all I wanted was for him to trim it and "clean it up" . He barely said anything and then just started shaving it down... his colleague had to translate for him - after I kept trying to explain. It was too late, so I just sat their while he finished.
