I am disabled and the shop owners are very good about making sure I am comfortable and have a seat to wait. For those in wheelchairs, there is one step leading in. But once you’re in there’s plenty of space to get around. Highly recommend the shop to anyone who needs a good cut or shave, for affordable prices.

My wife pounces on me when I get home from this barbershop. These guys know what they’re doing. Quite honestly the best barbershop I’ve been to in my life, and I’ve probably been to 10+. All these gents cut hair extremely well. They not only learn, know, and remember your hair, but they can sculpt your look into a product that makes your look your best. Will and Nico are who I’ve had cut my hair, they kill it. But every barber there is top notch. You can’t go wrong going to Sheridans. They redefine “exceptional.”

I'd been to a handful of barbershops in Wheaton before deciding to give Sheridan's a shot, and I'm lucky I did. It was by far the best barbershop experience I've encountered for several reasons. It's located very conveniently in Downtown Wheaton, where there is ample parking. Also, their barbers are friendly, highly skilled, and knowledgeable. Not a bad cut in the place. I went to see Vince, and I highly recommend him. His attention to detail and his abilities were clearly evident, and I left with a cut even more perfect than I expected, at an excellent price. I'll definitely be back. Don't look anywhere else for a barbershop.

I really want to like this place more than I actually do. The location is good, the prices are reasonable, and they do a fine haircut. I’ve gone three or four times when my usual place is overbooked or I’m just not going that way that day. But I can’t reconcile three simple things: • They don’t take appointments and every time I’ve called ahead for the wait list time, my actual time has been double the quote. • I don’t understand why they only accept cash when services like Square exist allowing anyone to take credit card easily. • And the floor is always filthy, absolutely covered with hair. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen an employee grab a broom, but they’re always so backed up on the wait list I suppose there’s no time for it.

They hold themselves to a very high standard when it comes to cutting hair and interacting with their customers. Anthony who used to work at Punch Barber Shop cut my hair. This guy is professional, LISTENS to his customer on how THEY want their hair cut, and got me in an out in no time. Would highly recommend for a haircut. The environment is traditional yet modern. If you are not a fan of Punch, then take your business here—they actually will treat you with respect.

This is the place!!! I've finally found a real barber shop. In the past few years I've been to 9 other local "barber shops". I put that in quotes because many of them were just places for local thugs to buy pot and blast Tupac. Others were legitimate barber shops, but only did cuts from the 90's. And the rest, I found, were lodges for adolescent boys to gather and teach each other the latest dirty words, and also happened to offer haircuts. For anyone who values a clean barber shop with expert barbers and first-class service, this is the place for you.

What a great place! This is a traditional barbershop with six full chairs. You won’t need s reservation or appointment as this traditional shop accepts walkins only. I also appreciated that the conversations were family friendly and avoided course language. If this shop were in St. Louis, I’d be a regular......but would be careful to hide that I’m a Cardinals fan! Additionally, I was in a hurry today to get to a meeting and left my eye glasses there. I failed to get back before closing and the owner agreed to open back up to let me get my glasses before leaving town. It’s nice to see this type of practical attention to details and care for customers. You should also know they have a barbershop truck that can serve small groups with an on site barbershop. Here’s my vote for best Barbershop in America.

As an out of town person, I was looking for a place with a good reputation. This place definitely had that. My cut and beard line up was only $25 which is a good price for all that you get! I just got out of Sheridan's barbershop and this was my second time actually getting a haircut there. The first time was from will and he did a good job on my hair, but he messed up my mustache and I had to shave it when I got home. However, today was my first time getting one from Nico and it was absolutely hands down the WORST haircut I have ever gotten in my life. I told him a fade on the sides and short on the top, but enough I can sweep it to the side a little bit, and I even showed him a picture of me with the haircut. I also showed him spots where I was thinning and told him to watch out for those. He rushed through the entire haircut, thinned the hell out of my hair, the hair cut is lopsided, and he even messed up my beard neckline. I am actually in tears because it is so bad and I don't know what to do. From here on out I am telling everyone to absolutely away from this place and especially Nico. I honestly can't believe it because are the reviews are so good. They're really nice people but the cut is so bad that I wish I could give zero stars.

Friendly staff with a real community vibe - you can see they've been around for ages but still remain hip, cool and relevant. The clientele when I was there was so diverse - from kids getting back to school cuts to 20 and 30-somethings to guys that could have been my grandpa. As a consumer, I don't love the fact that it's cash only and no appointments, but the quality of the cut is top-notch so I'll be back as a new regular.

Vince has been cutting hair at Sheridan's for over 30 years, and will tell you the best stories about the thousands of people he's worked on and the history he's seen. Beards, shaves, cuts, and conversation. An honest-to-god barber shop! If you recently got a $5 haircut, these guys will be happy to fix it for you, without judging. Let's just say this place has been the best place so far that has ever existed in Wheaton for haircuts. They are very kind and you will not leave this barber shop without laughing. It is a great atmosphere for children and adults. In specific one of the barbers Steve is amazing, he always will remember your haircut every time you come back. My groomsmen and I all went in the day before my wedding and everyone said it was the one best haircuts they have ever had. I am in this shop every Friday morning for a fresh cut. I tried many other barber shops and you know what they say you get what you pay for, they were all chop shop's. I love Sheridans barber shop! Edit: Tom (the owner) responded to my original review with kindness and concern. He offered a free haircut to remedy the issue and I made an appointment with Niko who did a fantastic job on my hair. Very thankful for both Tom and Niko's care in remedying the situation. Will be returning to work with Niko. Original review: I went here and was refused service because I am a woman. I have a more masculine haircut so I intentionally went to a barber to hopefully get the style I was looking for. If you are a woman, they won't cut your hair no matter what length or style.

Sheridan’s Barber Shop gives the best men’s haircuts in the northwest suburban area. All of the guys are sociable, charismatic, detail oriented, and overall fun to be around. Great place, classic cuts, and good price. Used to be $15 a couple years ago but now $20 -- still a steal either way. They also have a punch card where you get 10 cuts and your 11th is free. My son and I usually go, so that card gets filled up quickly. Can't go wrong with Tom, Billie, or Nico, but there's usually going to be a long wait for Tom (he's got a lot of regulars and is super talented). Write your name down on the notepad and just grab a coffee next door at Starbucks -- goes by quickly. Totally recommend.
