When I first walked in it just seemed to be a regular barber shop to me, I saw to young gentleman working there (MOE 1 and MOE 2) and they were hard at work. When I first sat down MOE 2 was a very kind gentleman and was very respectful towards me. As he was cutting my hair he was very friendly and was open to conversation. The barber shop itself was a very clean environment and loved getting a hair cut here because it reminded me of the barber shops back home. MOE was then very quick and efficient with the hair cut and got it done in no time. When I told the him what i wanted to be done he just made a face and started cutting. A real barber would of took 30 minuets plus but he was don’t in 5 minuets and took off the apron and I got up meaning I was done. Really upset with the experience and service. I was there on Monday 20 2018. very arrogant and needs more experience for someone that runs a shop. I couldn’t go in to work the next day because I was so upset and embarrassed with the hair cut. The funny part was he had professional pictures of hair cuts posted outside the outside window shop.For someone to open a barbershop in a downtown core it should be A+. He was really fast to cash me out...

Heard how well reputed Adam was at cutting kids' hair, so I took my boys. No more hovering or worrying, and no instructions required. Just sit back and enjoy. He's really good! ???? Kids love their "kool" cuts which don't get unnoticed. ???? Since the boys looked so good, thought I'd give Adam a try too. Now, not a cut goes unnoticed - makes me wonder how bad or boring my hair was all these years. From a pricing stand point, totally reasonable for the kiddos and on the low side for adults - when comparing. In either case, these two guys could easily increase their fees based on the quality of their cuts, the styles they provide and the way you feel when you step off their chair. ???????????????????? Edit to my review. Went to get a hair cut today (07/08/2021) and was told by owner they don't cut women's hair. I have the same hair as a man. I want a short cut. My sides before this locked down are buzzed on the sides and longer on top. Didn't ask what I wanted. Well, thank for now being unwelcoming to women. I found this place last year and decided to give them a try. I love short hair. It's nice neat, easy to take care of, no hour trying to style it and it looks good on me. I went into other barbers, but because I'm female you know by the way they talk to you that they are uncomfortable with me. One even refused me because of it. Here they are open, friendly and have a chill atmosphere. I don't want to go to any other place.

The person that cut my hair took his time, did an extremely thorough job, and even was thoughtful enough to help put my glasses on before showing me his work at the end. This is the first time a barber has thought to do this for me and I was very impressed. I asked the barber to give my hair a very small trim and just clean it up. now i am almost bald. as he was cutting the hair i reminded him to only cut a small bit. when i turned into the mirror my heart sank. Never ever go here this is a terrible place to get your hair cut. the barbers do not listen

Upon arrival a guy who had no idea on how to do a fade started cutting my hair. When he realized he messed up bad and cant finished he asked me to switch chairs, i got up and sat at another barbers chair ( moe 2) who tried to fix it but it was hopeless. I asked for a DROP FADE. They then proceeded to charge me 30 dollars. For this haircut. Even after i complained that they should have told me they were giving me an inexperienced guy.

I came across this shop and I decided to take my son there on Monday for the first time. We were greatly impressed by their service. The shop was super clean and very welcoming. We were helped by a barber named Ash and he was amazing. He is super talented, knowledgeable, passionate, friendly and professional. This is to follow up my earlier review this morning at around 11:50. Moe reached back out to me via my phone number that he collected (stole) from the phone call I made to his store at 10:30 and at 11:15 to see if he was opening at all today and sent me a private txt msg rather than replying to the online public forum His txt msg word for word (have screenshot to prove but cannot upload for some reason: I do not have to use multiple methods with me. I do what I can for this village and work long hours on my own. Nobody goes to Google. I have good service. I have a lot of things to do. I have a few days when the work is very light and someone like you comes to write the bad things on Google. To appreciate the circumstances of others I accept all the faults of customers Thank you for your words and do not feel jealous of others Thank you royal barber shop..... The end.... Clearly speaks to his unwillingness to work with customers and he simply tries to make it everyone else’s problem but his because he is busy. Well I was there this morning with 35$ cash for probably 15-20mins worth of work and I get my hair cut and beard trimmed every 3rd week. I also play baseball in the community and my partner has lived here all her life. We will be sure to let all of our friends and family know in the immediate and surrounding areas what stance this small business takes on customer reviews from people in the community along with the rest of the story! First and last time I will bring my 15 year old here. It’s all about the experience! Dirty floor with hair that looks like it hasn’t been swept up all day. Very unprofessional. Poor service. Towel for around the neck was used not even a clean fresh one for every client. He left to pick up food before serving my son and left the shop empty with us in it while he went across the street. This place may be cheap and affordable for parents with kids but honestly I will not further his business due to his lack of cleanliness, lack of customer care and lack of business sense. We need to support local business who put an effort to serve not treat us like an assembly line.

Run down barber shop that Smells like cigarettes. I was witness to a barber that cut my 7 year old sun and then cut my husbands hair in total of 24 minutes. My complaint with my sons cut is he shaved too much of his original hairline off, and styled it without even asking him or his parents. We would have preferred a natural look. My husband and barber didn’t speak at all. Between cuts the combs or machines were met disinfected either. Lastly Bathrooms are nauseating the toilet bowl, garbage and sink were nasty. No receptionist or price list so we had to ask before the cut. $15 for kids, 25 for my husband. Overall just to much of Ghetto barbershop located in middle of downtown .
