Best barbershop around. I've been going to Joel for a year or two now and he's the best. He's super knowledgeable, takes time and puts pride into his cuts. Every barber in the shop is great and you can always expect some entertaining and funny banter between the barbers. Great shop, clean, friendly and welcoming and they always have a friendly dog around somewhere.

I love Oddfellows! The staff are all friendly and the space they work out of is super cool. They have a dogs are welcome policy, so you already know these people are good humans. Oddfellows is one of the first barbershops I’ve walked into as a woman and not been questioned about my buzzed hair. Jenn who cuts my hair regularly (and who also has an awesome smile) is passionate about what she does and I always leave feeling fresh AF! Jeremey and Cory have also cut my hair and do an amazing job. Some men are nervous to buzz women’s hair (ya, I don’t get it either) but they handle my head confidently and I so appreciate it!

I really wanted a good fresh and current haircut. I said I wanted a hard part when I sat down, and that I wanted it to be clean and fresh looking etc. My barber said cool and began. Then she kind of talked me out of getting what I wanted to have done, but what I ended up with is absolutely the worst haircut I think I've had. I feel mutilated and embarrassed, its that bad. I was going to my dad's wedding next week and wanted to look sharp for it, and honestly, I look like someone just buzzed all of my hair off. There isn't even enough on top to style in any way at all. I would never ever ever go back solely based on this. I'm not going to lie, even she frowned when I left.

Booked online for head and shave. Got there on time, the crew was all smiles and relaxed (no overbooking). Place is ultra casual, good music, very layed back atmosphere. Joel is a gentleman, and a hell of a master of the razor. Soft spoken, nicely run establishment. I can't recommend this enough. Thanks for the love and extra care guys!

Decided to give this place a try. It has a very cool environment. Located in the back of the skate shop. I went in not really knowing 100% what I wanted to do with my hair. Logan was great giving his thoughts. He also gave a great haircut! Very proffestional and would recommend him to anyone.

I've been going to Oddfellows for a few years now. Since moving from Toronto it was near impossible to find a good barbershop east of Montreal, I was used to going to Crows Nest in downtown Toronto Luckily I stumbled upon this shop and have never found a better hair cut. Joel started out on his own and luckily added two amazing barbers from Vancouver! Currently I've had Ashley doing my hair for over a year and cannot be happier, I used to spend most of my time trying new shops and being completely dissatisfied - I've never felt like my hair doesn't come out looking great and sharp. Everyone really makes you feel welcome, these are all really hard working people and really take their jobs seriously. To me this is the only shop to go to in Halifax to get the best barber experience - I highly recommend any of these people - they're constantly improving their craft and it is very noticeable in the work they do. Book today!
