Been growing my hair for over 8 months. Even told the barber/stylist Michele, which apparently is not the same Michele from before because Michele is now a guy (Not that it matters), that this is the longest my hair has ever been. Showed him a picture of what I’d like and we pressed forward. The long length and the curls at the tip were the first thing to get cut off. Should’ve walked out right then and there. The sides and top are fine, which he barely had to touch. So disappointed. Completely understand that the hair will grow back in another 8 months but still upsetting. I knew I was in trouble when he pulled out the clippers. Figured what I requested would only need minimal scissor work. Lesson learned, off to find a new barber/stylist. FYI, before this cut, all the previous cuts were never consistent. They go through stylists almost every 2 weeks.

My first time there and it was pretty coo! Was able to drink a beer while getting my hair cut. Macy was the hairstylist who cut my hair and she was very nice, easy to talk to, and has a very soft touch. She did a great job and I'm definitely going back!

To whom it may concern. You have a beautiful establishment, however your main representative who apparently spent her day yelling at all your customers!!! The ones present, as well as the ones calling, and not to mention the ones coming, and leaving. I’ve never seen such behavior especially from who I later found out was the GM of the store. Very trashy attitude. Not sure who vetted her, but please consider secret shoppers. A brief description of who I’m talking about. She’s stout, aggressive and very rude. Here’s a friendly reminder “Reviews”makes and or breaks a business. In a time that everyone is on edge from the Covid; the last thing people need is to be greeted with such foul hostile behavior.

1st I'll say is that I hate it's 38 dollars and that it comes with hair wash and hot towel. I just want to come in and get a haircut. They still force u too pay 38$ even if u don't want the hairwash and hot towel that it comes with. They don't have a basic package for just a haircut. I only ever go for convenience since it's 5min from my house. The haircut are fine but I just hate how they do their pricing. Most of the times I drive 20 min to my prefer barber

I had not visited a Matador's location prior, but enjoyed my experience and will return! They gave me a whiskey on the rocks while I waited, the barbershop was presented very well, and the haircut/beard trim were just how I wanted it.

I had an amazing visit for my last cut. It was my first time getting a haircut there and I left extremely impressed! The building is very clean, well played out, and incredibly inviting. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted and asked if I wanted a water, whiskey, or beer. I took a beer with me to my chair and was able to enjoy it during my cut. I've been experimenting with a new hair style. I described what I wanted to Karen and she absolutely nailed it, which is saying something because I'm very particular. Being in the military for so long, I wasn't used to having an actual "style" but Karen took my vision and made it reality. I was given a razor fade with a straight razor that I could barely feel touch my head. I left happy and relaxed and look forward to my next visit. They aren't the cheapest, but you will receive service that comparable companies charge $15-$30 more.

Finally a Matador and a convenient location! ???? This location even has a bar selection! The staff is friendly and courteous and attentive to your hair cutting needs. Nancy will take care of your appointment needs and will greet you with a smile. Michelle did a great job as I never had my haircut by her and I’m picky, I was very happy with the results. I usually don’t like to spend money on foo foo fancy stuff. However, as an incredibly handsome gentleman I need to maximize God’s gift to humanity, that gift is my face. I need to frame my JFK like looks with a proper haircut. Sal cut my hair, was a great conversationalist, and did all the subtle things to make my top lettuce look crisper than iceberg. He even pulled up Army Regulations to make sure my cut was within the specs established by the US Government. Yeah, my hair and face are registered as WMD. And when I walked out of Matador, let’s just say our adversaries soiled themselves when they saw how good I looked.

gonna update my review because Sal is gone, Josh is gone and Lee is gone and they now have a dude at the checkin. BUT they still go above and beyond to meet your expectations. Mesha took some off and asked if it was short enough, I asked for more and she just smiled and said of course. They must have a great training program because they still make you feel important as a customer, even with different people. I now enjoy my haircuts....it is no longer something that I just have to get done.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this was my husbands first time getting a haircut here. Sal did an amazing job. He has a difficult curl pattern that some barbers have a hard time with but he gave him exactly what he wanted. I LOVE how his hair looks. He will be back to see Sal again.

I came in to get a haircut a few weeks ago. The prices shown on their website were different than what they charged me for my haircut. I am seventeen, and the website says people under 18 can get a haircut for $25 (The "young man's cut"). They ended charging me $38 for my haircut. I asked for the basic haircut, but after I was done, they charged me extra for different add-ons. I highly recommend Timothy. He was friendly, professional, and cut my hair well. Thank you Tim! Unfortunately, I just have to complain about the price changes. $38 plus tip is way too much to spend on a haircut, and I will not be returning.

I don't normally write reviews but I truly feel this place deserves the attention. For years I've been going to sport clips, great clips, super cuts, etc. This was my first experience visiting a "higher tier" barber shop. The difference in cost is absolutely worth the end product. I've never in my life had a haircut so sharp. I told the stylist (Michele) a very vague idea of what I wanted and she immediately jumped on it taking the initiative, I really just trusted in her knowing what she was doing. (mind you my hair was all the way down to my shoulders). She also spent a lot of time on the left side of my head without saying anything about a natural curl that I have, that almost all stylists complain about. An amazing experience. Thank you Matador, I will be back.

All I can say is $40 is crazy to spend on a hair cut but I will spend it every single time I need a cut if Nadia is there! She is the best person that I have ever had cut my hair. She is the sole reason that I have been going to matador. Called the Sunday B4 Thanksgiving to get a cut. It was a little last minute. But needed it done. It was my first time with them. The usual spot had a bunch of ladies getting dye jobs and had no time for me. Asked for a # 2 on the sides and finger length on top. Pretty easy and Staright forward right? The side where my part is is not tapered it just stops. The top is much longer than finger length. I’ll probably need to just clipper my whole head and let it grow out. Not a great look for the holidays.

Went to get a haircut and my beard ????‍♂️ trimmed. A real bad experience. Walkout having to pay $55.00, my beard ????‍♂️ looked the same very uneven didn’t seem to be trimmed at all. My friend who went with me saw some of the haircuts ????‍♂️ when they went up to pay the trim line on their neck was not even at all Very bad haircuts ????‍♂️ and overprice I don’t Recommend it
