A barbershop geared towards men. To be honest, I love it. I think the motif is a tad cliche. Kind of barber crossed with sons of anarchy, but it works and I still love it. I've had nothing but great experiences and haircuts. Highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by what a great haircut I got at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is friendly and collegial, the shop is as clean as any barbershop you'll find, and again the price is reasonable. And it's right next to a coffee shop. Garrison gave me the cut I asked for and some informative banter too. I look forward to my next visit.

Best barber shop in the area. Because of that, be prepared for a wait, especially on Saturday unless you get there before opening. Line usually starts around 730 am 3 Saturdays, and it can be a couple hours during tourist season. But it's worth it, it's the perfect barber shop.

Easily my favorite local barbershop. Each one of them is a talented and attentive barber, and they also have great personalities and engagement with their clients. Ed, the owner, is a particularly skilled man with the scissors. I get my hair cut by him every time, and have never even been close to disappointed. As a bonus, they have a shop bulldog who hangs out.

They don't take reservations so go early or be prepared to wait. The quality of cut far surpasses the inexpensive price tag. My normal barber was on vacation, so this was my first time at main Street, as I needed my hairs did ASAP. I got an amazing cut at a third of the cost. I found my new spot. Highly recommended.

This place is utterly phenomenal. There's no dancing around the fact that it's got a stereotypically masculine atmosphere - somewhere that has the potential to make me, an androgynous and socially awkward nerd, uncomfortable - but this place could not be more accepting or welcoming. They couldn't care less what you look like. They just cut your hair, remain sociable and kind, and do a darn good job while they're at it. It's the best haircut and the best haircut experience I've ever had.

I’ve gone every 3 weeks or so for about 8 months. As soon as I walk out of there, my haircut is complimented, sometimes by strangers which never used to happen. Mike cuts my hair frequently, and I enjoy his conversation, but I’ve also had nearly everyone there cut my hair once and it’s always perfect.

This crew just can't be beat. I personally look for consistency, cleanliness and atmosphere and they all are great barbers here. I really like that I can go from one barber to another and get the same cut regardless of my favorites being busy with someone else. They are extremely polite and professional but also fun so you don't feel like just "the next cut". Love the dog mascot and the owner is awesome, thankful, appreciative and welcoming. With all that said, it's the only place I've ever been that hasn't messed my style up. Lastly, it takes absolute perfection for me to score any given place with a 5 star rating but this place is damn close.

Great atmosphere, highly talented and artistic barbers that listen to your ideas and deliver. While yes, there is usually a wait; you are waiting for quality and an experience that never disappoints... we all look and feel our best leaving the establishment. Coming from someone who has incredibly high expectations I would highly recommended them for a crisp, clean cut done by a wonderful group of barbers who are consistently warm and welcoming.... and as a plus, they haven’t failed in quality of a cut in over a year of steady visits. Ed Beckett and his team are PHENOMENAL. We drive south over an hour just so we can have my ASD son's hair cut by them, and they make my son feel like he's "one of the guys". They are so patient, welcoming, and will make you feel like family on the very first visit. THEY ARE EXCELLENT with children!!! Moving to Maine from the deep south (military), Ed and his team made us fall in love with Maine. BEST BARBERSHOP I've ever been in. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Had my first hair cut and first ever professional beard trim. I forget the younger kid's name that did it (sorry dude), but he did a great job and even took the time to touch me up with the straight razor. There were a ton of people there, but I dont think I wait even 30 minutes. Friendly staff, clean shop, good atmosphere. I'll definitely be back. Good showing gentlemen.

hate to say it but more times than i can count i go in to get a haircut like i did today. i'm not asking for the world but i find it silly that anytime i go in it's 40 minuet wait or longer just to get in the chair. i went down the road and got just as good of a hair cut. Maine street had five barbers on and they told me it would be an hour. there were 5 people in front of me. so it takes an hour for all of those hair cuts to get done. i don't want to complain but this is at least the 6th time it's happened.

Great bunch of guys and they do an awesome job for $18! Only downside is usually there is a wait because they are so good and so cheap. There's always a couple of guys getting a haircut when their head is already buzzed almost bald!? I think some guys just come for a haircut because the barbers are so nice and easy to talk to.
