Great fade. Ask for Manny. Only had him and Paul, who is gone now, but satisfied every time this far. Pretty particular about my fades too. Never tried any other barber here however, so I can not recommend anyone else without experience. Haircuts come down to the place and person cutting your hair not the place at the end of the day.

I have been a customer for 7 years now and I am very impressed with the service that Junior and the rest of the staff gives to their clients. Manny at the Kingsway location is an excellent barber and he is the go to guy if you are looking for a super crisp hair cut. Overall this company is my first option for a hair cut and I do not think any other barbershop in Vancouver can match up to the standards of Juniors.

Super nice spot. Came in closer to close time and the gentleman had no problem fitting me in. I expressed that my previous barber had cut my top too short and he made sure to take the time to only cut off a bit on the top and did a sick fade on the sides. The environment inside is chill, have TVs from every vantage point and were very clean. 10/10 would recommend. Ps they do a hot towel at the end which is really just the cherry on top to great experience ????

I want to thank Junior and his staff for the education they’ve given me. Coming from having zero experience of cutting hair, my intimidation level was high. Junior made sure we followed the steps and the clear instructions, with much encouragement and patience. Week after week I gained more knowledge and confidence, I was doing fade after two weeks. Highly recommend Junior’s if you want to invest in yourself by learning a new skill.

I saw that this place had very polarizing reviews but I needed a simple short and professional cut done. I had Cole as my barber I believe; Cole if you're reading this, may be worth looking into a new profession. I asked for a short and professional cut, and he begins to start buzzing off my hair without much of a second thought, leaving my hair at a even "6" across the board. This isn't a professional cut. This is by far the worst cut I'd ever gotten when I use those specific instructions. Also, when you want to blow a piece of hair out of the way, use your hairdryer not your breath, especially not when your breath smells of cigarettes and weed. I'm not faulting any of the other barbers at this shop, but beware of your cut when choosing this shop. If you don't care much about the end result of your hair, there's plenty of cheaper alternatives within 100m of this place; if you do care for the end result, find a reputable shop or barber. Do not give into laziness like I did that brought me in here instead of going a bit farther to proper salon.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this was by far the worst haircut I have ever gotten. The guy I got seems to cut hair like a person who self taught themselves using YouTube. My fade was patchy on all sides of my head, a chunk of hair was shaved too close to my scalp so I have a bald spot in one area and my neck trim was sloppy and uneven. As others have said too, I was faced away from the mirror as to not see his sloppy work. I was then ushered out as quick as possible without a chance to get a good look at the job. Please seriously reconsider going here if you can.

Oouuu I got my hair cut here and it’s literally perfect! Like I love it! And mine wasn’t the best I saw! Everyone I saw left extremely pleased with their haircut. All types of hair are definitely welcome. The space is very comfortable and welcoming, the kinds vibe you expect from a proper barbershop. Pricing is great as well. This is definitely my new spot! And everyone is very friendly as well! Call prior so you can be put on the list. You can definitely walk in but of there’s a list you might wait a bit.

Whether you're getting cut from Sam, Danny, Vincent or the man (Junior himself) I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I recently moved to Vancouver from Toronto, and was very skeptical of anyone other than my Toronto barbers cutting my hair. The first haircut I got from there was by Sam. He exceeded my expectations. I thought it might've been a fluke, but 1 year later - he's still my guy. Not to discredit any of the other barbers, as I've been cut by them all, you're guaranteed to be happy and feeling like a million bucks when leaving the place. Highly recommended to all. First time here when visiting Vancouver and everyone recommended me to him. I am super picky with my hair and the barber has to be on point. Junior is the owner, hence the shop called junior. I actually met a legend as I found out he the main man that cuts hair for all the movie stars that come to film in Vancouver during set. He got a wall of pictures of him and celebrities. He showed me nothing but love. He was super humble even though there was fame around him. The best part is he got my hair cut done right from the gecko. It was perfect ????. Normally it would take barbers 3-4x attempts to get the hang of my look but he got the look I wanted on first attempt..all the best to you and your family, including your son ;) you will Be my only go to guy when visiting Vancouver, trust !

I have been getting my haircut at the shop for a few years now, but the last haircut was so badly done even my girlfriend wanted to go and fight with the barber. There is a Spanish speaking, light skin brother who works there. He needs to be patient and he needs to concentrate. The last haircut I got from him was really awful. Really. I was really angry and so was everyone who saw the style. It sucked bro. I would never have him cut my hair again. Never. It’s just that awful. If you cut all your customers like that, you will be out of business soon bro. For real. It really sucked. I had to wear a hat for 2 Months.

My biggest mistake was to walk into the store. I asked just to shave my head and I was offered to clean my neck and also a trim, I was very clear I was letting my beard grow again. It was cut at least 1,5 inches and they vanished with my mustache transforming it in a line. I strongly do not recommend this place. After x Before

I was there on Aug. 9th and I waited in line for exactly 3 hours. One of the barbers gave me a cut 15 mins before closing and it turned out to be a disaster. Not sure if he just wanted to get over with the haircut cause they were closing or what the issue was.

My barber was busy, junior took it on. My problem is i dont get the same guy i want to do my hair. One time i thought my barber wasnt coming in so the women there did my hair and it wasnt good. . The next couple of times i got the same barber and cuts were great and cost $20. This last time he was working on a client so i waited for him but Junior came to me to see what i wanted i explained and he was or had time todo it so i let him. He didnt hear me or something. My hair is longer on one side than the other. I didnt notice till i got home realized it was bad for an experiance barber. The thing is i usually pay $20 but he charged me $40 and is the worst. PS His instruments were pulling and scatching my head. I look like Moe. I looked at my haircut somemore try to fix it but its still bad. The worst haircut ever. The worst ever or i never had a cut do bad.

Decent haircut. Attention to detail is poor. I have a section of hair on my right-side at the back of my head sticking out. Also the left side was faded skin while the right side was skin as well but it wasn't clean as there were hairs still. I wouldn't ever come back for $45 (tip included). $25 would be a fair price for this quality of cut.

I love the program and Junior is an amazing teacher with a practical, hand's on approach that separates it from other barber schools. This is honestly one of the worst places to get your haircut in this city. The barber is filled with young pot heads who are learning to cut hair (Tempting, right?). Junior Adusei May have had the chance to cut Rick Ross’s hair, but freeway would be relieved knowing he got away. Junior hates white people as well. Don’t go if you're white. They made comments about a white guy being inside when my friend went. He pulled my hair so bad last haircut I figured it was just an accident or incompetence; but 3 other white friends went in and complained about the same thing. I’m not surprised after seeing Junior at the BLM protests in the city. I can see why he pulled our hair. Everything mentioned above would be justified if the haircuts weren’t absolutely garbage. Listen to the other 1-2 star reviews if you don’t believe me. Don’t buy into the other pot heads giving 5 star reviews and the other questionable 5 star reviews. Your $40 + tip will be spent more wisely at the large basket of hair salons in this city. I wish I could give zero stars.

I first got cut by Junior at his barbershop on Davie in downtown Vancouver 2 years ago when I was up for the weekend from Seattle. I am extremely selective about who cuts my hair. I’m in Vancouver about 3 times a month. I was so pleased with the cut that I wait til I get to Vancouver to get cut at Juniors every time. Literally the freshest cut I’ve ever had and consistently fresh every time.

One of the best instructors in North Vancouver. Not your typical driving instructor that will make you repeat things you are not getting, instead he will give you examples on how to get around your fears and weaknesses on the road. Highly skilled driver as well which will give you the comfort during the learning phase while driving in a busy road. Knowledgeable of ICBC's testing rubricks that gives him the leverage from other driving instructors. One of the the things I took away from the lesson that I would never forget is when he said "I am teaching you to drive not only because I want you to pass your exam, but also I want you to be safe on the road going to your destinations alone or with your family."
