Perhaps I was rude when I posted that "My wife gets her hair done here but I don't know why." It's a review that could be taken to mean that the staff are incompetent and unpleasant. Quite the contrary. The staff ARE very pleasant AND more than BOTH accommodating and competent. My wife has been going here for years and has been pleased time and again with what they've done with her hair. When I said that "I don't know why she likes going here", what I was TRYING to convey was that I'm sure she could easily find a comparable deal and staff closer to home and cut out the 20 to 25 min drive to Holyrood Hair, but I'm a guy and I admit that I (and most men in general) do not understand the trust women put in their hairdressers and I guess THAT would be why she keeps going there. Because they've consistently won her trust.

Fred is the man. I have tried several other barbers. Didn't like any of them. I travel 25 mins everytime i have to get a haircut just because he makes me look decent. Plus he is a big time oilers fan. Nothing can beat that.

I've been going to Holyrood for around 15 years now. The skills and professionalism Fred brought with him when he took over are top notch. He invested a ton into upgrades while maintaining fair pricing even when he continously gets robbed for his hard earned sports memorabilia. I wish more people put in the hard work and dedication like Fred does as he is one of the last few places left that shows character, class and integrity. Anyone who doesn't have a 5 star rating on here is either retarded or is one of the clowns who breaks in and robs him every year. Thanks for everything!

I love this place and have received many compliments on my hair from friends, colleagues and family members. It's unfortunate the husband has stated he likes it but has written otherwise. He who states never air private information out on social media has done just that....and this my friends are why women ask if they look good to their man and are hesitant to believe them...exactly what the man I'm married to just did, say one thing and post another. Glad I'm happy with feeling good about myself that his comment didn't crush me. It's more of a learning. Urge about him that I see. Holyrood I have been with for years and I've no plans to change. They do a wonderful job not only for me but with other clients I see coming in, koodos!!!!!

Well let's start off with the fact I have now got a bald spot. I asked for finger length on top and it is now so short I cannot style it and even worse yet it is uneven. The barber needs to turn off his tv and concentrate on his job. Worst haircut ever, I could do better in the mirror at home. Should be called holyrood butcher shop not barber shop.

Very poor hair cut - never used scissors - save your money and find a barber / hairdresser who puts some effort into your hair cut - possibly ask if you are happy with the cut - terrible experience ( This is the worst I have ever had!!)
