Hands down by far the best barber experience one can have, bar none. I moved away from Vancouver 2 years ago, and I'm still to this day trying to find a barber to replace Amar. Nobody is able to come remotely close on service or ability, and I long for the days where I could just show up and have Amar know exactly what needed to be done. I really miss being able to just hang out and chat during my appointments, as Amar treats every one of his customers like an old friend. Inexperienced Barbers + very expensive haircut - $45. If they would charge $15-$20 for such quality haircut, I would give them 4-5 stars. Otherwise, better to go Barbers&Co or Regal Grooming! + Save $5

I am not sure about how well they cut hair but they have no problem parking in a handicap parking spot without a placard. That tells me more about the kind of people they are more than how well they cut hair. They claimed one guy had a bad back so I hope he is not cutting hair because that would be really bad for a bad back. Not good to break the law while in a vehicle with your business plastered all over it.

I have been going to Everest Barbers for a year. Love them. The two brothers are both excellent, treat all the clients really well, and have created a fun place to go back to every week. Their membership plans are superb. I get my beard shaped, a straight razor shave, and a haircut every week and it’s costing me less than my previous regime. Definitely worth it!

It was my first straight razor shave! Amar trimmed up my beard and moustache, giving me super-clean lines down my cheeks and on my neck. Then it was my first facial treatment! Meghan applied a series of magical elixirs to my face until my skin absolutely glowed. All this while serving me deliciously complex single malt whiskey and regaling me with fascinating stories. It’s a wonderful little shop with great atmosphere and terrific people. I will be going back!

Rafi himself is a talented barber unfortunately the same cannot be said for the owner Amar. Revoked my membership for not agreeing to the credit card opt in system despite paying with no problem each time it expired. He constantly hounded me for a 5 star review, also waited 10 minutes after my booking time on multiple occasions yet when I was 2 minutes late on a Monday morning when there was not a single other patron in the shop he claimed this was also grounds for membership termination. For the prices he charges for an a la carte service there are multiple better options downtown.
