My husband and son went today for a haircut. We decided against having my sons hair cut because there was no specific price for children. I wasn’t about to pay $40 for a haircut with a bunch of extras he didn’t need. Then my husband had a cut and it was totally uneven. His sideburns were not cut correctly. One is longer than the other. Plus his hair is cut sideways. One side is much much shorter than the other. We won’t be back. It’s overpriced and a horrible haircut.

Chevy took the time she needed to really understand how my hair worked and halfway through she voiced her concerns with how my hair was behaving for the style I requested. We talked through it and tweaked the style a bit and it turned out awesome! I can’t thank her enough for taking the time to work with me and give me the haircut I needed as opposed to giving me exactly what I asked for initially.

Came in for the first time today. Got my cut and shave from Lisa and she does great work with attention to detail. The set up is nice with arcade machines, good music, and beer if you want a drink. The wash stations are at every chair so you don't even have to get up! I got to meet the owner (Wes) and got a great discount on my next service for scheduling in advance ($25 off). It was a great experience all around.

So I came by for a quick haircut after being out of town for a month. After a long flight my girlfriend and I dropped in to see amber and I received the best haircut I have ever received in Katy Texas. My fade was absolutely perfect and she trimmed my hair to the perfect length. Amber made me feel super comfortable and felt like she had been cutting my hair forever, they have complimentary coffee, water and other beverages with purchase of haircut and arcade games. Best bang for your buck on the men’s haircut it’s most definitely worth every penny and I finally found a shop in Katy that fits my style and made me feel like I’m back in the city back home in LA. I’ve been to this place a few times now and while my regular barber is no longer there, I got the pleasure of being introduced to Taisha. She took my call when I called to book (I didn’t know that) and was extremely professional on the phone. I was leery when I heard my regular wasn’t there anymore, I have a beard and am VERY protective of it. She assured me she could take care of me. I trusted her and I’m glad I did. She did an excellent job, very friendly and professional. She told me what I needed as far as products but wasn’t super pushy about them, which is one of my main complaints with stylists. I’ll definitely be using her again for my hair AND my beard. Thank you, Taisha!

Maybe I am premature on giving such a terrible rating, since they're so new, but usually when a place is new they try their hardest to make an impression. Well they certainly did just not a good one. Worst impression...way over priced for the quality of service. Update: I have upgraded my rating because although I am still terribly upset with what I received, the business reached out to me and expressed interest in making up for my experience. Great job! I'm not a high and tight guy. My hair needs to a little style and they did a great job getting my hair the way I like it. Did I mention the free beverages? Anything from Soda to Beer. I had an Axis IPA while I waited and while my hair was being cut. They performed a straight razor shave that didn't miss an single hair. I've had other shaves from other barbers in the past where I had to clean up what they missed later, but here not a hair was missed. Not even the strays. Oh and I didn't get cut either. That's always nice. The amenities are nice while at Diesel as well. Free classic stand up arcade games and music. Did I mention the free beverages. This place the mundane job of getting your hair cut enjoyable. I look forward to my next hair cut. Thank you!
