From the outside you certainly wouldn't guess that within were truly skilled and talkative hair stylists. I had a hair cut from a kind and enthusiastic individual that knew her trade, which turned out looking really good! This combined with a extremely reasonable price I'd highly recommend. The only slight draw back was that my initial desired hair style(which I clearly explained) was somewhat over looked and taken into the hands of the stylist. Even with that, I'd happily give 5 stars and return again myself.

After getting my hair done at the same place in Vancouver for 10 years, I went to ROYAL IMAGE to get my eyebrows done, I loved her personality since the moment I walked in but still wouldn't trust her my hair, went there a few more times for eyebrows and now I was thinking about it but still not quite sure if I should trust her my hair, until I took my 6 year old daughter for a haircut and she did an amazing job so finally I decided to let her cut my hair ( that's how picky I am with my hair ) I was so happy I did, she took her time, listened to what I wanted and gave me her professional opinion without been pushy, I ended up loving my hair and now she has done it a couple of times and never disappointed me, she is a really nice person and her business hours are great as she's open late and weekends, she is also amazing with kids, I would Totally recommend this place.

Dimpal and the Royal Image team were absolutely awesome. Brought my 3.5 year old daughter and 2.5 year old son in for their first proper cuts (with my 3-week old daughter in infant car seat) and couldn’t be more impressed with their support. Lollipops for the kids, cartoons on the tv, worked around having both kids sitting on my lap and even helped rock my newborn daughter back to sleep after waking up and fussing a few times. Highly recommend; especially for the little ones! Will definitely be back.

Hi I'm a Jamaican to start with, when I came to Abbotsford I was very concerned about getting my hair cut because I couldn't find any Jamaican barbers in town I had to go Surrey to find one so I was getting tired of travel that far anyway I started searching in town and I found a few other shops tried them but something was just not right until I found ROYAL IMAGE BARBER SHOP I've never tried any other shops since it's going over a year now and I can tell you that the owner Dimple as been my #1 barber ever since, she's very knowledgeable in what she does and listen to me as a customer in which ever style I want her to cut my hair to, I highly recommend ROYAL IMAGE BARBER SHOP to everyone ????????

I've been up Barberville, Tommy Guns and some other smaller stylists/barbers and I can usually point out a mistake in haircuts I've had with all of them. One word: AMAZING!!! As I drove up to the salon and it’s tired signage I became nervous, to say the least. I had called and booked an appointment because of the great ratings ROYAL IMAGE has from clients. As I waited in the waiting area I started actually reading the reviews, that’s when I noticed they were mostly men. Uhoh!! I am leaving in a couple of weeks for a holiday, my go-to hair dresser is away for a month and this was my chance to try someone new. I’m so glad I stayed! Elated, actually!!! Dimple is so friendly and even more amazing is her gift of listening to what I wanted for a new hairstyle. Then she weaved what I wanted with what she knew would compliment my face into the best haircut and colour I’ve ever had. I will be back. FOREVER. Dimple and team, you have a new client for life. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! REALLY bad service. I kid you not. Dimple couldn't trim straight lines, messed up my beard completely and was extremely iritating with her stupid jokes. Reminded me of cringe pop artist, Dinchak Pooja. She does not know how to do her job and her English sucks. Wouldn't go again. Edit: No, beard lineup was not "awesome" ????????????. And the place was mostly empty with barely any customers. All those good reviews certainly seem rigged. This can happen guys. Try going to places with lots of reviews with varying amount of stars, I know I will from now on. Reviews of those places are more-likely truthful (see attached photo, it's an example of a known really good place to get a haircut or beard trim, but it doesn't have 5-stars). A place with 50 reviews that are mostly all 5-star might not have actual / truthful reviews.

Best haircuts and beard ever! I come here every week and absolutely love the quality and service. The owner always goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are satisfied. When I model for designers in Vancouver, the first question everyone asks me is, "who does your beard?" - the amount of energy and time that goes into the precision of getting the beard perfectly aligned is quite gruesome, but Dimple never fails to excel. I would 100% recommend everyone to check it out!

Not only did I get a #1 cut, but a straight razor cut as well.. it is a 2 hour drive to Abbotsford from where I live in West Van, but for a cut like that, for $20, the drive and cheap gas it's worth it.. Received a haircut from lady was shocked on how poor it was exicuted asked for a simple fade but it was uneven on both side very poor blend and seemed like this was her first haircut given. i wouldn't like to give a bad review but on the first visit charged almost $80 for haircut with beard and eyebrows, moved from Vancouver and cant find a good barber in Abbostford. please note to ask for price before sitting down and give feedback if you received a bad service like me.

I LOVE Royal Image Hair Studio, especially Dimple! I had been going regularly to a “bargain” hair salon and didn’t realize what a great haircut was until I found Dimple. Best news is I never have to make an appointment, and the price is pretty close to the bargain price I’d been paying, but now I get more bang for my buck. She always takes her time to explain what’s she’s doing and she pays great attention to detail. I always feel extra pretty leaving her salon! First hair salon that I ever trust... She isn't about the money, she actually cares about helping you with whatever your needs are for your hair. I got my hair cut done by her once and told her that I've been trying to grow my hair out, so she is helping me with that. I went in today to see if I needed to get it trimmed (as I'm doing everything I can to keep my hair healthy which means regular trims) and she said that my hair looks great and I don't need a trim just yet and to come back in a couple of months... it's really nice to have a hair dresser like her who actually cares about your hair and what you need/done with it. I highly recommend going here if you need someone to trust with your hair and someone who actually cares about YOUR needs and not the money.... 5 stars easily.

So I came here for the first time today and Dimpal cut my hair. It was the best haircut I had ever recieved. I have receding hair line with sparse, soft hair that had always been difficult to manage. The cut, texture she gave me and the hair product she put on made it look like I had plenty of hair. She did my hair as well as thread my eye brows. She was also extremely friend and humorous. At they end of the visit, she forgot to charge me for the threading but was courteous enough to let me pay for it the next time I visit. The price was $17.99 -- very reasonable for the quality hair cut you get. Be sure to check out the pics of her work. I am definitely come back here. 5 stars.
