Jane has been running this place for years and she's very attentive and talented. This is a barber shop and men's cuts is what she specializes in. If you're down town and need a trim she can usually fit you in without an appointment. Quick, inexpensive and it's always a pleasure to catch up with Jane!

I am very disappointed as I have gone to her for years, and today I was told that I needed to be "Double Vaxxed", and to show a vax card through the window to prove it. If she gives me a thumbs up, I can enter. Otherwise, I have to wear a mask. I told her I couldn't do that. I cancelled my appointment. I am mask exempt for medical reasons.

Shop was empty when I walked in so I asked if she could shave off a little bit of my hair that I keep shaved above my ears. She turned me away because she’s a “licensed barber” and “only does men’s hair”. I have a men’s haircut so I don’t see why it’s an issue what gender I am, and she wasn’t anything close to busy. Salons would way overcharge me for a five minute shave of my hair so I go to barbers instead, but she was just rude about it and made me feel stupid for asking.

Worst Barber Shop experience I have ever had. Phoned made a appointment for 4:00pm. Walked in 23 minutes to 4:00 to say I was gonna be late for my 4:00 appointment as I had to drop my daughter off. Couldn't begin to explain how she reacted to a simple request. I couldn't even explain to her between her constantly saying she couldn't take me early than my appointment, that I didn't need to get in earlier but later if that would work for her. But she insisted I was a idiot and wasn't getting this simple concept, after rolling her eyes at me for the last time I walked out, and can guarantee I will never be back.

The lady that cut my hair didn't want to listen to how I wanted my hair cut, Just told me that she's been doing this for year's an know's what she's doing. Then forcibly said to keep my head still. The cut was horrible and not at all what I was asking for. Won't be going back and wouldn't recommend.

My son was refused his appointment today even though I had called only the day prior to book. Jane asked me for "the phone number" so I gave her my #, only for her to tell me I called the wrong number, even though I thought she was asking for my number. I explained this and she insisted I called another barber shop, not her. She made me feel like an idiot. Needless to say, we won't be going back there as her customer service skills leave more to be desired. Lucky for my son, who leaves for Cadet Camp in 2 days, A Cut Ahead gladly took him in, no appointment necessary!!
