The quality of cuts I get from Frano's is unmatched by any barbershop I've been to, and that's not an exaggeration. Rosario is very personable, loves to chat when he's cutting, and makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. If you tell him what you want, he'll get it right the first time. His team is the same way, he has an all-around talented staff and I'm very comfortable having my hair cut from them as well. I've had such bad experiences with other shops and just can't ever go anywhere else now that I've been to Frano's. They don't take debit or any cards. In a time of COVID, this is not acceptable. They spent a lot of money on memorabilia rather than paying for a proper debit machine for payment. They'd rather you pay their ATM. The lady who cut my man's hair ignored his request and did what she wanted rather than what was requested; we were not impressed. They do not enforce mask wearing inside while you're waiting and the waiting area is small. There's also a dog bed and bowls out in the waiting area which I understand for a pet owner but not great for business. It should be put behind the counter with the owner as not everyone can appreciate a dog in their space; people also can have allergies to animals. It also makes it look messy and unprofessional. Their staff also bad mouthed one of their clients after they left. We will not go back nor recommend.

Do yourself a favour and drop the chain haircut place. Go to Franos instead. Get yourself the real barber. This is the real deal and for the same price as the other places. Only drawback I guess is that you can only pay in cash. ATM is on site for that. My new go to spot in Abbotsford.

I was looking for a new barber and saw the reviews for Frano’s online. Thought I would give them a try today (Nov 6, 2021). Great atmosphere. Very clean. Rosario was super personable and a great conversationalist. I wanted a new style of haircut: low tapered fade, combover with a hard part. He took the time to understand what I wanted. I wasn’t sure how short I wanted the fade to end, so he said he would start leaving it longer as he can always trim more off. He ended up trimming the fade 3 times, settling on finishing the fade to bare skin. To get that bare skin fade Rosario used an old school straight razor. Which in my book is the sign of a skilled old school barber! He never once made me feel rushed or that I was taking up too much of his time. He was extremely patient and paid very close attention to detail, ensuring that the cut was just right. It was very obvious that customer satisfaction was his number one priority. In the end I had never been more satisfied with a haircut in my life! I have found my new barber! Thanks Rosario…see you again soon!

I liked my longer hair and asked for a trim, only a couple centimetres to clean stuff up and i walk out looking like an egg, i might as well shave my head at this point. I probably won’t come here again and It’s a shame since I liked the place but I just did not receive what I asked for at all.

I went to Frano's for the first time this week and was a bit nervous going to a new barber but as soon as I walked in they were very welcoming and friendly. It was a great experience. Rosario was friendly and talkative which made me feel very comfortable and he managed to turn my mess of hair into a very clean cut.
