First time at Francis. Asked for a fade. Ended up uneven on top and haphazardly half rounded on side. Francis isn't skilled at fades. His other clients seems to do rounded haircuts. He's also quite rushed. Won't be returning. Edit: Added pictures of the result after asking for a Fade and square spiky on top. This is not a Fade and the top is not square. When I said the left looks longer than the right side, Francis replied "that's just how the hair is cut". Uh huh. Just don't come here for a Fade. Otherwise, there's lots of other happy customers which was what made me come here. Wrong choice.

Went there for the first time with my two kids (6.5 and 1.5 years old boys). They did a fantastic job. There was a bit of a wait (adults and kids as well). There was o e lady before me with a 3 yo boy who had never been to the barber shop before. When his turn came, he didn't even want to leave the waiting area. Francis helped him on the barber chair, changed the TV station for everybody to Paw Patrol just to accommodate the boy. Needless to say, with the help of a lollypop as well, he stayed the whole time for the haircut and it turned out fantastic. Grown men and kids were all very happy with the hair cuts. Great overall atmosphere. Very professional.

I asked for a mid skin-fade comb over and i have never gotten a butchered haircut like this. It was not a fade but a simple buzzcut up to the longer hair line and uneven up top. No hard feelings but the younger kid that cut my hair should practice a lot more before he can charge customers. Will not return

I didn't have alot of time last Friday evening but was told I needed a haircut by the better half so I stopped in at Frances for the first time ever just before 7 ( 15 until close ) and Frances the owner had another person in his chair I felt bad and offered to come back and Frances wasn't having that and told me nicely I should wait for the best haircut of my life and not only did he do an amazing job cutting my hair he gave the full package which included a haircut with fade.. he trimmed and faded my beard all for less then what I used to pay for just a haircut at all the big chain haircut places...the next we brought our son in for cut as well all because of the great service and warm welcome I received from someone I had never met before.

I am extremely particular about my haircut so I’ve been going to the same guy for 20+ years, in a different city though, And I was working next to Francis’s shop and watched him at work. Turns out he’s related to my past barber, I gave it a shot and I am now a regular. My kids love him and Francis is very friendly and takes care of his customers. So happy he’s only 1.5km from my house. And my past barber doesn’t feel bad that I left because I’m going to his relative! Win win lol. Gotta a hot shave the other day and was quick and painless. An excellent experience for my first time here. I had just gotten off of work and needed an emergency hair cut (been growing out my hair and just couldn't take it anymore). I phoned Francis and asked if he had time to take me as it was somewhat close to closing. He said of course, so I headed on over there. When I got there (Almost 630?) he was just starting a cut, and had one waiting. He stayed open past shop hours to make sure I got my hair cut. He did not rush, was super friendly and offered great conversation. He paid great attention to detail, when I was about to get out of the chair he stopped me and asked if he could touch up my eyebrows with a trim even though it was past closing time. I won't hesitate to go back, you can really tell he loves what he does and loves interacting with people. Thanks for the great cut Francis next time I'll try to make it in a little earlier haha.
