I wanted a haircut with a same day appointment, so you never know what you will find in terms of quality, and with a short haircut it's risky. New to Chilliwack I can no longer justify driving to White Rock to get my hair done. From the minute I walked in, I could feel how warm and friendly it was. Moon, Leon and Jessi were all wonderfully welcoming and made me feel like I had been going there forever. I loved it. Jessi cut and highlighted my hair, listening carefully to what I asked for and staying true to my request. She is an undiscovered gem and the only reason she isn't booked from morning until night is because she had only recently joined Chez Moon. She moved from Ottawa where she has many years experience, and people in Chilliwack don't yet know about her. Thank you to all three of you for making me feel so welcome. Definitely found my new hair salon.

Moon is AMAZING!!! Leon helped her out and he was great too. I highly recommend it here!! I got Covid bored are decided to Bleach my own hair then colour it burgundy. Unfortunately it was a total fail and I ended up with fried hair With dark roots and uneven orange length. I wasn’t sure it could be fixed but I walked out of Chez Moon with Beautiful, Rich brown, healthy feeling hair. They were both so sweet and fun. I will definitely be going back! ????

Best place until you reach vancouver. (And i still prefer Chez moon from a big city barber that charges 3x the amount too) Leon always cuts on point, dont be afraid to tell him exactly what you want. He knows his stuff and will never give you a bad cut.

I love these guys. I will never need to go to another hairdresser ever again. I had cut off 15 inches of my hair to donate it and I had it done at sassy cuts and I'm sorry to say I think it was the girls first day and she did a horrible job. But after months of growing it out and trying different hairdressers I found Chez Moon and they did such a wonderful job. I didn't have to wear headbands every day anymore! Now I just go in and tell them to do what they think will look good and I've walked out of there very happy every time. I highly recommend them. They are also the sweetest people you can meet.

I will start off saying that I did get a decent haircut, but was very dissapointed with the service. Despite asking for a shampoo on the phone, then again when I walked in, and again once she started cutting my hair, I was told she washes after she cuts most off.. well she just kept going and ignored me and didn't ever shampoo. I then asked to have it curled while she was finishing up the cut and was told yes that would look great, she spent about 1 minute straightening my hair, I assumed maybe she was doing that precurl to get my hair even, but then she said all done what do you think, and I again asked if she would curl it and was just told yes it suits you. So I gave up trying to get what I came in for. Paid $52 for a 20 min hair cut and to have my hair half ass straightened. Good cut, bad service unfortunately.

Wwhhyyyy... is this the best place in Chilliwack? I was charged $52 for a rushed hair cut. It took half an hour because she only had half an hour, and made her next client wait for 15 minutes despite her appointment. I received no wash despite expressing I wanted one. When I inquired about the price, both hairdressers were rather unclear about it. I even tipped cuz I'm a sucker.???? Dang

Excellent hospitality and very nice owners. However very disappointing results with my hair. I got it done and told them right after that it looked the same they said to go home, apply purple shampoo and it will get better, so I did for a couple weeks and no change to my hair color. I called the shop back and told them I wasn't happy with the outcome as it looked the exact same prior to getting it done and especially disappointing because my roots weren't even touched and the owner flat out said they cant do anything about it. She advised that "asian hair is difficult to dye" and suggested I go to Vancouver. $250.00 later, I was not happy and will not be going back. Long story short: if you have "asian" hair dont go to this salon. Seems like they only prefer doing non Asian hair.

They put so much into their business and community and are fantastic people. Leon did a wonderful job with my hair. He consulted with me first, asking what I wanted, then gave his professional advice as to what he thought would look best on me. I showed him photos I'd brought, which we discussed the pros and cons of, then he went to work doing what he is masterfully trained to do. The result a short while later was a stunning hairstyle, closely mirroring one of the photos I'd shown Leon, beautifully shaped to my face. I'm beyond impressed! Not only did Leon listen exactly to what I said I wanted, he gave knowledgeable input that I really needed to hear. Thank you so much, Leon! I will be back for colour and highlights very soon :-)
