The historic fort is well worth the trip and the price. Make sure and bring your mountain bike if you want to experience and adventure through the backroads but too far off the main road. And they have a functioning water fountain at the fort, first public one I have seen post COVID.

I've been searching for a good barber for over a year, and I think the search is over but I'll wait til after a few more appts to make it official. I found this place after checking out some reviews and pics of their work decided to give it a try. Scheduling was really easy via Google, and I got confirmation right away. I was worried initially because of a scheduling conflict with work needing me sooner, but fortunately was able to get an earlier time. Upon arrival, their lobby is clean and airy, with ample seating/couches so quite comfortable. I was greeted instantly, and was able to see everyone at work. From what I saw you simply can't go wrong here, they're all awesome, great trims and even better fades. My barber was Ariana, and she is amazing. She's clean, professional, a true perfectionist and it shows. She takes her time to understand what you want and actually gets a feel for your hair type before she gets to work. She's got blending down to a science, a clipper wizard. If hair could smile, mine would be showing teeth!

Got a haircut and shave. The haircut was terrible, if you're not good with sheers don't offer haircuts. My shave was crooked and needed to be repaired at home. I should've said something, but the tattoo shop like atmosphere was intimidating. The place seems to have good business, especially catering to children. Unfortunately, it's not the mature skilled place I hoped it would be. Background, I've gone three times. My first time getting a shave was done by the owner and he did an amazing job. Perhaps it's hit and miss. The amount of children is annoying for a barbershop.

The hidden gem of barbershops . After doing some research to replace my current and aging barber, I decided this shop would be my first choice. Met with Kevin to schedule an appt. and since I was there before they even officially opened, he offered to "clean me up" right then and there. The place really has a cool vibe, some unique but great music playing and the best part was my barber Kevin. GREAT haircut, great advice and immediately scheduled my next appt. when I was done. I honestly couldn't be happier and I rate them 5 stars with no hesitation.

Been coming here almost as long as they have been open, and I won’t go anywhere else! Jason Blackmon is who I see for my hair and beard and I’ve never left disappointed. The entire staff is awesome and makes you feel welcome. They also make their own beard oil, balm, and shampoo and it is all top notch! Love this place from the look of the shop, the technology, the homemade railway products, to the staff. Kevin, the owner, does a wonderful job and is super friendly. Highly recommended to all. Booking online is easy, too. I was able to have the staff book my appointment automatically for every third Friday, so now i get a text notification and email reminding me of that appointment and i never have to try to book again... which is nice because Kevin is so busy that he's usually completely booked for two weeks. The other barbers now know my name and all greet me as i walk in even though I've always booked with Kevin and that's a great feeling when the whole staff makes you feel welcomed.

When I arrived at the shop, I could tell this was a great place, just by the atmosphere. When I told them I am a walk in, as I didnt have a scheduled appointment, I was instantly seated in the chair. I forget the name of the barber but he was very smooth with the clippers and was very professional. This is going to be my place I go to, to have my beard trimmed and shaped as I cant do it myself due to my unsteady hands. I fully reccomend this barber shop!

My 89 year old father has been in a nursing home and has rarely left his room for the last 9 months. Last haircut was 8 months ago. We talked him into leaving the nursing home to get a haircut and shave. There are no words to describe how wonderful this experience was for him. Ariana gave him an amazing haircut and shave and was so kind and caring. The atmosphere was awesome and my Dad left feeling like a million bucks. He will have to fight off all of the nurses at the nursing home. lol We highly recommend Railway Barber and Ariana.

If price is your only consideration, then there are other options close by, but expect to be disappointed one way or another. If you want a good experience, then this a great option. I used to have an amazing barber. He was old school and was always money in the bank with the fades. He passed away over 10 years ago and the search for a good barber has been rough and long awaited. I'm very picky and since the passing of my barber I've tried about 6 barbershops around here. I eventually gave up and just dealt with mediocre fades. Then somebody told me about this new place Railway so I gave it a shot. I've been here 4 times now and Kevin, the owner has not let me down. Perfect fade every time. Great barber shop, friendly, clean, comfy chairs, takes credit cards, affordable prices, the whole 9 yards you look for in a barber shop. No more salons for me! The word is getting around about Railway. I've noticed them getting busier and busier since opening not too long ago but I'll wait a long wait every time knowing the quality I'll be getting. Eventually everyone will know that this is the place to go! No more mediocre, just straight up precision!

My family and friends know how much I hate to have my eyebrows waxed because of the pain, so for me to have my nose waxed was a nightmare However, Megan goes above and beyond to make it as comfortable as possible for me.
