haircut was uneven, they left the back too long and puffy and they didn't thin out my hair. would not recommend for anyone under 50 getting something other than a dad haircut. the only redeeming quality is that it was cheap. the price reflects the quality.

Earlier in the week i went to famous hair for an extremely basic haircut. I got probably the worst haircut of my life. It looked like they cut my hair blindfolded, with a chainsaw. Now, without being able to go in public without a hat, i was desperate to get it fixed. I walked into Jason's without an appointment and they were able to get me in! (But make an appointment on Style Seat) I unveiled my hair to the barber, and he agreed it was one of the worst he has ever seen. So we began emergency hair reconstruction and he was able to salvage what he could. He did an amazing job given the circumstances, and i cant wait to see what they can do when i go back! I got a great haircut, i felt good, i smelled good, and paid a fair price! Not to mention, i smelled so good my dog would not leave me alone. This is a great barbershop. The guys are awesome. They always do a great job and the prices are more than fair. I am a veteran and came in on veterans day weekend. They had coffee and donuts and refused to allow me to pay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who asked.

Terrible. I used to go here every time I needed a cut. I will never go here again. They've switched to a new board where each barber has a set cut limit. It's crazy I've never seen it before. My barber was full for the day I won't have somebody else cut my hair. Uve lost a customer for life.

I am cadet at the Kent State University Police Academy. I needed to get a haircut but only had an hour during lunch to get that done. I booked an appointment with Joe Scott. Hoping that you'd be able to give me done in time. I came in for my appointment and he was ready for me five minutes ahead of time. More importantly, I was negligent in only brought my credit card with me. Joe was completely cool and laid-back about the whole situation he told me to go back to class to make sure I wasn't late and i could worry about the money after class. He I offered to let them hold onto my license and he completely trusted me all with a good smile at the same time. I made it back to class in plenty of time. Afterwards I brought him the money and he was completely cool. In all of this I also received a quality haircut. I found the barbershop at our turn to to get on my haircut

Now I may not be the most knowledgeable seeing as I only get my hair cut once and year and have had less than 20 total haircuts since 2007 but this is the only place on Earth I'd even let touch my hair. It's an excellent barber shop and if a shave, a haircut, and some good sports talk is your thing I wouldn't pass this place up. TLDR: The people, atmosphere, and haircuts are 10/10

I went there for an appointment for my 3 year old (excuse his snotty nose in the pictures above lol) the first time and told the older barber(he was in his 60-70s) that I wanted a little off the top so the entire curly fro was even he had lots of curls and he cut it so low all of it I was SO UPSET! The line up was not clean and he left so much hair all over my baby and he nicked EACH OF HIS EYEBROWS I AM SICK! And there is absolutely nothing I can do until it grows back

Good barbers but the business literally sets you up to fail. Not only can you not call here (it's an automated message with no voicemail option), you MUST book an appointment on the app they chose to contract with. If you don't book an appointment you're screwed. It's often booked 1-2 days in advance for a barber shop with 6 employees. This new system, while good for the barbers because it secures business, is bad for any customer. It creates an unfair advantage to anyone who doesn't have, isn't good with or isn't interested in technology. But hey whatever secures money in the pockets right? No.

It was a great place to get a haircut until they became victims of their own success. I scheduled a 4:45pm appointment through Style Seat, rushed home from Cleveland to make the appointment, only to discover that they had closed up at 4pm. What is the point having appointments available later in the day if you are going to close early? It's too bad; they did a really good job of cutting hair, but I have better things to do with my time than to have to guess when I can get a haircut even though I have an appointment.

Only thing I hate is scheduling they get so busy you have to schedule practically a month in advance to even get in nowadays. I'm glad they have buisness but I don't have time to schedule and I'm typically busy and work and don't know what days I'll be "free" to schedule. Other than all that it's a great place.

I thought this might be a nice barber shop. One that I could maybe make a permanent place to get my haircut. Arrive at 4:50 pm. Took off work early cause they close early. They don't close till 5:30 pm. So 40 mins still till closing. 4 barbers workings. One guy in chair waiting. As soon as I come in guy says we are appointment only today. I have always known barbershops as being able to walk in. I was surprised. It appeared to me that no one wanted to make any money I guess. They just wanted to cut out early. Here I am new customer thinking this place would probably give me a good haircut. No. Just wasted my time. Parking is pretty tough downtown Kent to unless you use garage. My father was a barber. If you made it in the door a reasonable time before closing. Someone would cut your hair. I understand if they were swamped. But one guy waiting. 4 barbers. 40 mins to close. I would not recommend to anyone. Maybe they are just that fantastic that they don't have to care. They will get bad advertisement from my mouth.
