Amazing salon!!! First it is GORGEOUS inside, the staff is so sweet and so welcoming! Now you probably want to know how the services are... I can tell you with 100% honesty that I have never been disappointed by any of their services. For nails, my go to girl is Cynthia. I’ve been going to see her regularly for the last 5 years. She’s AMAZING! For hair, I recommend Melina. It was my first time going to this salon last week. I had seen some of the girls that work there with their hair a nice cool shade of blond. So I thought I would try it. I needed the blond in my hair to be fixed (it had turned to a copper orange) and I also needed some blond highlights. Melina was the hairdresser that did my blond. She used a toner that took out all that brassy orange and made it a cool shade of blonde. She also did my highlights. I really ended up liking what she did. She’s very good with color. I came in to get my highlights touched up. I showed the stylist what I wanted and it didn’t turn out how I expected. I called later that day, said just that, and that I’d like an appointment with another stylist to fix it. I came the next day, the new stylist fixed my hair (it took her 15 minutes) and I was then charged an additional $60 for the “colour correction.” I said I didn’t understand why I was being charged extra, as I shouldn’t have had to come back in the first place. I came to this salon because I knew that prices were more affordable than other salons, and it was completely out of my budget to pay more. The manager told me that if I had gone to the same stylist, it wouldn’t have cost extra, but since it was another stylist, it did - that would have been fine if I was told that at any point, but no one told me. The manager was also extremely rude and dismissive to me, blamed me for already being undercharged for what the stylist did the day before and for creating tension between the stylists. I think that management handled this so poorly, and I felt very upset and uncomfortable when I left. I don’t feel comfortable ever returning.
