I used to be a $20 haircut kind of guy. But I've seen the light with Mint - you truly get what you pay for. And an extra $10 gives you a whole lot more. After too many mediocre cuts I did some Googling, found them and thought I'd give 'em a shot. Super friendly, really chill and comfortable setting. My barber was visibly passionate about his work and took an ample amount of time to make sure I was getting the immaculate cut I wanted. Unlike most of the usual spots I went to, here I never felt rushed and left feeling great about my cut. Loving this trend and transformation of barbershops, and Mint is clearly helping to drive it.

This is my #1 go to spot for over 10 years now. After trying out many different barbershops in Montreal, I met one of the owners or Mint. Walking into the boutique I was welcomed by the staff with a friendly smile or head nod. They mainly work with appointment but also have space for 'walk-ins'. So many talented barbers to choose from, you'll never have to worry about whose chair you sit in, you'll always walk out looking 'Mint(ed)'. Easy to find and conveniently situated with two locations; one in Lachine and one in Lasalle, this place is a cornerstone of quality and professionalism.

Worst experience ever! Beware! The only barber there is Mike, the rest of them are there just chilling and have no right to be called barbers. Asked for a simple haircut that usually takes 20 min to be done, I was in the chair for about 1h 40 min, the guy was constantly texting and talking on the phone, cut my ear accidentally (it happens) but didn’t tell me there was lots of blood, it stained my white t-shirt had to throw that in the garbage and I realized that only while being at work! (“nice customer service “) Got charged 35$ , freaking ridiculous and they do not accept any cards so had to pay ATM which is a lot more expensive than anywhere in the city! Overpriced , inexperienced place , avoid at all costs.

Very nice work Travis! very pleased with the results. Having usually paid $17 for a haircut I was initially hesitant to drop $35 on a clip'n'cut. Let me tell you though, worth every penny. I could tell right away that this man took pride in his work and the results showed! he took his time and very attentive to detail, how my hair grows, etc. The guys that work here seem to mesh well and this lends to the relaxed atmosphere. The inside is nicely appointed with comfortable arm chairs in the waiting area. I will definitely be going back!!! Make sure you call or go online and make an appointment.

As a first time client I must say I felt more like a guest than a client. MINT barbershop was a great find for me today. Mike welcomed me when I first arrived, inviting me to have a seat and hang out while I waited for my turn, With about 7-8 barbers working, I waited only about 10 minutes while enjoying the plush seating and rich sound quality of the kickin' beats. Mike then called my name and the show was on. He asked me what I wanted, I gave general guidelines and let him know he could "do his thing''. I was not dissapointed. Best cut in years. Diamond in the rough. If you are in the LaSalle area, for sure go here. If you live elsewhere and have a car, make your way to MINT for a spot on, clean cut and above and beyong service. I showed up with no appointment with my 4 year old son. Elio took him and was super patient with him despite him moving so much. My son is obsessed with dinosaurs and asked Elio to "make a dinosaur". And he agreed. I wasn't expecting any crazy because it's hair! But it turned out AMAZING, my son is in love with the T-Rex that Elio shaved on his head. Everything who notices it is pretty amazed as well. We will definitely be coming back!

I walked in a 7.5 on 10, once Andrew picked up those clippers and worked his magic, he turned me into a solid 9. Women always take notice of my hair and beard now, and that's why I believe its worth the money. Not sure where Andrew got his gift from, but the man has the touch. Overall great service. I left there not loving my haircut personally but others all said I looked great which will make me go back there next time I need a haircut. Worst place ever! Don't go there!! My haircut is a mess, the guy didn't respect what y asked and he also shaved my beard without asking and he charged me for that. (He even forgot to shave one side on my neck). Very overprice for "barbers" with no experience. I payed 40$ for the worst cut I ever had. He couldn't even give all my money back because he had no change!! I have to go somewhere else today to get it fix... just don't go there!
