I went for a haircut a week ago. This was my first time at Golden Scissors. The lady who was cutting my hair also cut my ear and I started bleeding so bad. Blood was literally drooping off of my left ear. She had to press a towel on my ear for minutes until the blood stopped. Both she and the other barber (I do not know either of their names since it was my first time) were so casual about the whole situation and said that it’s “normal” for their little trimmer to sometimes nick on their customer’s skin. On top of it the lady also said that “my ears were too small and usually people have bigger ears” (which doesn’t even make sense because bigger ears logically would be prone to accidental cuts). If one is paying $33 for a haircut, they would most definitely expect to not encounter such service quality issues. I did not have a nice experience despite being offered 20% off on my haircut for the damage done to my ear. For a week after the incident, I had trouble/pain wearing a mask on my face as cut was at the edge of my ear where the mask loops hooks onto the ear. My only advice, please take accountability for your actions and stop brushing such instances it off as a casual occurrences. This explains the negligence on your part for the “professional service” you claim to provide to your clients.

My husband Jordan has had his hair cut by Isaac for the past 11 years and has only ever been fully satisfied by his cuts . He has only went to see , 2 or "MAYBEE" 3 , different barbers , but only when issac was fully booked or not open or if it was last min but over the 11 yrs , all the barbers he jas used other then issac , EVERY single barber has messed up his hair or made it uneven . What issac does is a true art . He has a gift of art and his clients are his canvas. He has been in the same place now since I was a young kid and I hope he stays for as long as possible cause he can make a hair cut loom like a million bucks :) good work issac and thank you from Robyn & Jordan

Exceptional haircut from Kala. Fantastic attention to detail and took her time to ensure everything was as I wanted. Nice, clean, modern and friendly shop. Great vibes. Love the online booking system. First cut after lockdown restrictions were lifted and as I was in the area I thought I’d drop in for a cut. Definitely glad I did!! Will 100% be back again if I’m in Cambridge... can’t recommend these guys enough!

Isaac is in my opinion the best barber I have ever been too. He takes his time and makes sure every cut/client has the very best experience every time. In the 13 yrs I have been coming to him he has never once given a cut I didn't like. If you want perfection every time then seek Issac. For mediocre hair cuts then go to your local chain.
