I've been going to this barbershop for the last 2 years and have always been very satisfied. I don't have a specific person I see, just whomever happens to be working when I go in and they always manage to turn my overgrown mop into a tidy and presentable hair cut. They also finish off the cut with a straight razor to clean up the edges which is a nice touch. Note that they only take cash and debit.

Went in for my haircut and a beard trim. BE CAREFUL who trims your beard here. I've had past trims that were great but its from the same woman each time. She wasnt in today so I tried a different woman who said she knew how to trim a beard after I asked her. By the time I noticed what she had done, the damage was already done. Due to wearing a mask I didnt see the extent of the damage till I got home. I had to trim my beard completely down to erase the terrible job she did.

Got in right away. My husband had his Hair cut. She did a fair job, hes had better. We have been trying to find a different Haicutter, from our Usual place. Its very dirty, unkempt. I dont think anyone cleans the floors. Waiting area is filthy

It pains me to leave this review because my dad and I have been going here since I was a child. The last year or so (four haircuts roughly) Gentleman's Choice has gone down hill in terms of the general experience level of its employees. My haircuts have been steadily decreasing in quality. I have tried showing pictures and giving exact measurement to no avail. My most recent haircut (that inspired this review) was the last straw and I came home and buzzed it off. I asked specifically for a certain type of haircut (a short cut with a caesar in the front) and ended up with a bowl cut that looked completely and utterly stupid. There are one or two employees that are very good and have been there for an extended period. Many of the others seem to be part of the revolving door this place has adopted of unskilled hairdressers. On more than one occasion I have been told by my hairdresser that their position here is just temporary until they find better work. If you go here, best of luck. Make sure you are very clear about what you want. As for me, I'm going to call it quits on over a decade of haircuts and find somewhere more reliable.

I have been coming here for 5 years, outstanding service, amazing people, and super friendly! You also get a shave with your hair cult if you desire. These are true barbers here, not just some more people with scissors and a blow dryer. I have recently started bringing my 2 1/2 year old son here, whom is not found of getting his hair cut but these ladies got it cut and my boy left with a lollipop and a smile! Which left daddy & mommy with a smile too. Amazing people!

I am nervous to get my hair cut and have had a hard time finding a regular place. I NEEDED a haircut a couple years ago and this place was one of the only places open that accepted walk-ins. I was sweating buckets waiting for my turn but my fears were eased as everyone in front of me walked out with amazing haircuts. They really know how to give awesome men's cuts and I'd recommend this place to anyone. Good price too.

I was there Today , made a appointment , 11 people inside during covid , I have been going here since they opened. I will NOT be going back , while I was waiting in the front waiting room others that came in after me were served before me and not even any courtesy to ask me if I was next or even had a appointment. I booked a 2pm appointment and I can prove it from my phone records , I see how money only matters now over customer service and safety. I will definitely never be back .

Clean, bright and recently rennovated. Open until 7pm, and usually busy after work, and early weekend mornings. They shave your sideburns and back of neck with a razor. Even trim your eyebrows if that's your thing.

Super fast and perfect cut for my 7 year old. Very fair prices. I usually do his hair myself for a straight buzz cut (not his favourite) I don't take him to anyone else. He gets it cut the way he likes it and it's "way better than when dad does it.).He walks out happy and so do I.

My experience was not consistent between different visits. Ended up with a very weird cut this time where the barber forgot to cut the top-back which required a correction and I ended up with a short and flat haircut where I requested a gradual cut for a modern mohawk style. Wont be coming back.

Moved to Cambridge in 2015 and have been coming here since. They are friendly, courteous and cut your hair as you ask. Not much more you can ask for from your neighbourhood barbershop. They can get quite busy on weekends, but they always have multiple chairs going to keep the line moving.
