Tony is a top-notch barber and the proprietor of Barber Pole & Co. I feel like I'm ready for a magazine shoot every time I leave there. They do shaves with straight razors. Haircuts are finished off with hot shaving cream and a straight razor to clean up the hairline, nose hair waxing (if you want it), eye brow trimming (if you need it). Tony is fluent in at least 3 languages I know of, so conversation while you get a trim is always interesting. I've been a client for 5 years and have NEVER been disappointed with my haircut.

Edit; I see a response from the owner. I arrived at 2:10 according to google location history, I had no idea when you were going to return because you left as I walked in. It wasn't just the 10 minutes, it was the 15 minutes of driving and 10 minutes of trying to find your business, ontop of waiting that I couldn't do. Focusing on constructive feedback as a first time customer. Your business' location/logistics are not my problem, but it became a problem when google maps directed me into a parking lot with no visible signage that you were in that stripmall/business park. The only additional signage is a very small 1 1/2 foot x 2ft lawn sign that is obstructed when travelling northbound on Hespeler Rd. I had to park and walk on foot to find you guys. Based off my wasted time and your response I think this feedback is going to be the beginning and end of my contact with you folks. Hope the feedback helps - get your business to stand out from all the red, and get yourself up on the business park sign so we know where you are!!! Original review: Not so great experience, due to a combination of poor time management on my part, poor signage and parking options had me arriving 10 minutes later than expected. Someone told Tony I wasn't coming so he left - they did offer to have me wait for him to return, but unfortunately I didn't have the time to do so. I'm sure the haircuts are great though.

I've been here twice since moving to Cambridge from Toronto. I was surprised by the high quality of service and skill here. My second time, I think, Roy took care of me. I never know what to do with my hair, I just go with the current trends. And Roy, just took my hair to the next level. It's been so hard to find a good barbershop even when I was in Toronto and their 4.9 rating is no joke. They really take care of you here and you are their biggest priority. $24 for a haircut is such a steal at this place. I feel fresh and excited to go back again.

I was looking to change things up and had been wanting to check out a proper barbershop instead of the quick cuts I've been getting in the past and I can't believe the difference. This place is awesome. The guys are very professional and they take great care and pride in the cuts. I got a haircut, shave and he trimmed and lined up my beard. All the lines are super clean and straight. He took a lot of time making sure everything is straight and symmetrical. I even got the nose hairs taken care of. I was there for 40 minutes total but it didn't feel like I was there that long. I was well pampered the entire time. This is where I'm getting my haircuts from now on.

Shop is modern and clean, Tony and Roy are friendly and pay attention to what you want, they make sure they know 100% what you want before they get started. I was impressed that they even shampoo hair, which is a rarity in the barbershop world. Im hapoy and relieved that i have a new barber. Kala was my sculptor and the astonishing level of professionalism was enough to plant a momentary smile of satisfaction on this dour mug. My world changed when I was offered a nose wax, washed and shampooed hair as part of the reasonable price package. 1000% would recommend along with tipping. Almost had a snooze in the comfortable chair as the barber next to me discussed a colour palate for their trimmers and I believe we decided on tractor green. I hope it is so on my return.

Not to happy with today's cut. I been going here for about 7 months now to get hair cut. Some times they nail the cut spot on and then some times they just don't do a great job. I have never had any one here every strike conversation with me or try get to know me specially as i come here often. Today was best described for that i came in and asked for only the sides to be shaved and to have line put into my undercut she did do that but started cutting the top of my hair not even asking me what length i wanted on top i been growing my hair on top for almost 2 years. Now i have re grow it as it is short its doesn't even slick back way i had it before. Will not go back to this location any more as i am tired of having disappointment !!

So many good reviews I feel bad that my experience was not that good. It was my first time there on Sunday and the place had a nice look but the young lady that cut my hair wearing a pink hat must of been having a really bad day. So I just sat quietly and watched the 2 other ladies cut and have pleasant conversations with there customers. The haircut was nothing like I asked for which was a simple fade and a bit of the top. I left pretty much with a buzz cut. Looking at your facebook page I see many people i know that have used your service. I will give it a second chance with a different stylist and maybe when the bar is open. Then I hope to give a 5 star review.

Went in with out an appointment and the receptionist told me it would be an hour or so wait. Then she asked a stylist if he could squeeze me in. He did but there was no talking or interaction of any kind. He was however quite quick and efficient. He gave me a good cut and was done really fast. The only downside is that they do not take debt cards and you have to use one of those private debt machines. Get a debt machine and actually talk to your clients and this place may be a great barbershop for us old school men.
