I normally see Nas cause he's the best. Little did I know, all the guys are highly skilled and are the best kind of dudes. Ed is the owner of this location and he truly cares about each and every haircut that walks out of his door. I had a haircut today by Mike, he hasn't been working at the location for that long, but his skills are on point. Mike is a master of his craft. If your looking for a stylish cut, and a shape up. Your wasting your money if you go anywhere else. Mardaloop location is a high end barber at a regular price. I felt comfortable spending my money on the cut there, and I only found out tonight that I was tipping Nas like $50 bucks or more. But hey! The guys deserve it. Many thanks Razor's edge! 6 stars if I could.

He made sure I was comfortable through the whole experience and was extremely detailed. (10/10) Don't know what should I say but the whole experience is 10/10. I got the haircut I want, and the barber made me look good. That's it. I feel bad that I didnt tip more. will do next time.

Was thinking of getting a haircut on my way to Blush Organic when a young gentleman calls out to me saying if you are looking for the best haircut in the Marda, you are walking by it. Without hesitation, I decided to see if his money was where his mouth is. And, I was not disappointed. Mo and Ed gave me the best customer experience in haircutting for a while and I hope they keep it up. I was pampered and I was indulged upon. Got my ear waxed too for the first time and that is a hard sell for me. So, an enthusiastic YES to the two young entrepreneurs starting a family business in the riskiest of times. Do go here and support their venture! I will be.

This is by far the best shop Ive been to in calgary. I used to have to travel from the north down to avenida but now they've got a convenient location in the heart of Marda Loop. Ed, Nas, Kamo and the whole crew at this location make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door and go above and beyond to make sure you get what you came for. I’ve been a Customer of Ed the owner for years before this location opened, visited for the first time since opening to find an extremely clean location, friendly ambiance and obviously an incredible cut. I was offered the cleanest Skin fade i’ve found in Calgary (and trust me, i experimented) paired with a crisp beard line up and had it finished up with a shampoo/massage combo. Ed and his crew never disappoint, i whole heartedly recommend visiting Razor’s Edge Barber Shoppe in Marda Loop.

I took my son over to this barber shop after getting recommended by a friend and he walked out with the biggest smile on his face. The barber was a handsome young fellow who said his name was Zack if I'm not mistaken. I could hear him making conversations with my son the whole time while he was cutting his hair and I can tell my boy was becoming very comfortable speaking to him. He had great people skills but even better barbering skills because the whole way home my son would not shut up about how nice his trim was. We will definitely be visiting Zack on a regular basis from now on. 100% recommend!

I was in the area, and in desperate need of a haircut. So I stopped by this barber shop just looking for a regular cleanup. I was greeted into the barber shop by very respectful barbers and almost instantly was sat down and ready for my cut. The fellow helping me out was named Zac and i’ve got to say the quality of my cut is an absolute 10/10. He is such an amazing barber and an even better person, we were making jokes and it wasn’t awkward at all. I was so impressed by the cut i decided to go in for the full shave and oh am I glad I made that decision. The shave was not at all painful and he handled me very well. Zac is definitely the best barber i’ve ever seen and I will always go back to him for cuts. I totally recommend this barber shop, an absolute 10/10

These young owners have shifted the paradigm of your neighborhood Barber shop. Spacious, clean and they offer standard services that I've yet to experience in Edmonton and Calgary. Between the straight edge razor neck shave, the hot face towel, the fancy mirrors and the compressed air at each station for cleaning purposes, these guys are onto something. I'm quiet impressed with this operation and would recommend this spot to anyone.
