Staff is friendly and the facility is bright and new. They are accommodating with your requests and very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Always enjoy getting a hot shave and have not experienced any razor rash once. They are new to the Acadia neighbourhood so I'll have to review them again after they've been in business for a year but so far I'm very impressed and would highly recommend them for your hair care services. I went in on a recommendation from my brother-in law and I was impressed. Super friendly and professional service. I was pretty picky about my hair cut. I like a tight fade but want a little length left on. Most barbers don't really listen and I end up looking like I'm in the army. This place is different. The atmosphere is great. They handed my 6 yr old daughter an ipad to play with while sitting on the couch which I (and she) appreciated. They even went the extra mile with straight shaving not only my neck but around the sides and to top it off they gave me a hot face towel... you might think I'm 'drinking the koolaid' or getting paid for this, but honestly I'm just a guy from Oakridge giving these guys my thumbs up. My only concern is they get to busy and I'll have a harder time getting in for a cut!

This is a great old-fashioned barber shop they even have the spinning Pole very friendly atmosphere a with a real neighborhood feel not sure if you could get a high tech expert cut here but if you're haircut is a regular one I'm sure they could handle that with no problem at all

We all have that friend that talks a big game and has a finer appreciation of the finer things. Mine told me of this place and the experience and I really thought he would say some bespoke place downtown with a hefty tag. He said how much and I seriously thught he meant $100 more. Then he corrected me and I thought to give it a shot, a bit incredolous how it could be that price and that good and look like that. He gave me a vague direction and had to call to check if it was the right spot since I was expecting some dilapidated place with grit. I have had experiences of hidden places or diamonds in the rough but this was in plain sight, nothing to find as the place was great. I was welcomed to a very clean, modern and cool spot. The screens crisp and with something good to watch. The vacuuming was neat and I felt ready to carry on. The shave was just something I was expecting and even then. I was pleasantly surprised. I had a great experience, the cut was amazing and the customer service was incredible. The results were great. For me it was super reassuring when I saw a patron who looked just cool, I mean do a double take in their sixties movie grandchildren's favorite type come in and cheer Arkan. I just know dudes like that know and he knew. I already was stocked but for me this set the experience in stone as the best. I was delighted and ready to recommend to anyone. Make no mistake, the cut and Arkan is something else and worth the drive. The price may make you think how I could write like this about it but it's simply the best. Clean, fast and good cuts. I think few places really deserve 5+ stars and this is one of them.

These guys are hands-down the best thing going in men’s haircuts! If you’re using some cookie cutter joint then you’re not getting the cut you need. I’ve never had a better hair cut and I’ve been using these guys now for about 5 straight cuts. Always exactly the same. Plus they do it all for an amazing price - cut, style, shave - all for under $30 bucks! One guy once styled my hair with a vacuum - a freaking vacuum! - and it was the best hairstyle I’ve ever had. These dudes have skills. They need to charge more.

I've been a little conflicted about whether I write a review or not, on one hand these guys do a great job and it's by far the best service I've gotten at any barber or stylist. But on the other hand I like that I don't have to wait a long time for a cut (I don't want them to be too busy). For the level of service you get here you won't find a better value.

I went on a Wednesday at 430 and there was no wait. They did a great job and it wasn't just a cut using the trimmers. $25 for a mens cut which is pretty standard and they give you a hot towel. All in all one of the best haircuts I've had.

Had my first experience going to Masterblade this morning. I didn't catch the name of the individual but as I understand it, it was his first week at this location. It was clear to me that he was very experienced and has a passion for this trade. I genuinely felt like he enjoys his job and takes pride in his work. All I asked for was short on the top and shorter on the sides (obviously not very specific). I am very happy with the cut and my wife was very pleased as well. The prices are very reasonable and I will absolutely be going back.

I was visiting from out of town and Masterblade Barbershop provided me with one of the best haircuts and fades that I have had in a long time. Arkan was friendly and professional, and similar to reviews before, the level of detail and effort that Arkan put into my haircut was unparallel. Little things that greatly enhanced the experience included the wall mounted vacuum for sucking up access hair from my head, the warm shave cream application and line up, and the 2x warm towels that he applied to my head before and after the scissor cut portion.
