She truly takes pride in her work, and I honestly feel great! This isn't an in-and-out in 10 minutes kind of shop, this is where you go to get treated well, have a drink, and enjoy the time. This is the space above/behind Market that was once D-Fons Barber Studio. It's now King & Co and it's a cleaner, more professional operation. I got a cut and beard trim...I never get my beard trimmed by a barber anymore but something told me to trust my barber (Eldridge? A pleasant Filipino chap) with my face fur as well as the diminishing hairs on my head- oh and my eyebrows, and he was just exemplary. I've been sampling many of the barbers popping up in the Beltline and Mission and I have to say that I was very impressed. Hot towel service too. My beard has never looked better, perfectly symmetrical which I have trouble with, and it was just a really good experience. They aren't slammed right now unlike neighbouring barbershops and I'll make a point of going back.

I'm conflicted with this place. It's super close to where I live but changed hands at least twice in the time I've been there. It seems every time I get comfortable with a stylist they move on or the staff gets turned over. Cuts are reasonably priced but I would appreciate more consistency.

I went to Ace, the owner, after a few bad haircuts at a big name barber shop. He greeted me at the door and welcomed me in the second I got there. Then proceed to give me one of the best haircuts of my life. My girlfriend still comes up randomly and says “your hair looks so good I can’t believe it”. Not only did he make me feel great and listened to everything I asked for, but now my girl can’t stop touching my head. Overall an amazing experience and he is now the only barber I trust!! Highly recommend 10/10. Service was amazing and Ace is so personable he makes sure you leave with a fresh cut and a big smile on your face.
