Cara kills it over here! I have been with her for as long as I remember myself in Calgary (=2016 onwards), and it always has been a great haircut/beard trim after I leave the shop. I always relied on her opinion of what could suit my terrible hair, and never ever was I a tiny bit disappointed. How many other shops can you think of in this city that opt out of stupid Top 40 for a solid medley of indie and ocassional Childish Gambino in the background ? Keep rocking, Cara, Gabby and Sara!

Alright so, i'm extremely picky with my hair and I don't adjust well to new stylists or barbers. I saw Sara's work and I was curious to see what she would do, but also hesitant as, again, i'm quite picky with my hair. I can SINCERELY say that in my life, I have NEVER received a more AMAZING haircut and style than what Sara gave to me! I was in love with my hair and she did an absolutely fantastic job. Not only that, but she's very friendly and outgoing and you feel right at home at this place. If you're reading this review and you're wondering whether Bateman's the right choice for you, go for it! I guarantee you, you won't regret it! Definitely going back to this place again!

I went to Batman's Barber shop for the first time last week and what an experience it was!!!! Didnt know what I wanted for a cut exactly but Sara totally took charge and did an amazing job! Can honestly say it is the best hair cut I have ever had!!! Also did an amazing job on my beard! Cara takes time to properly cut my hair (unlike many places I've been before where I'd be out in 15 mins). She listened to what I wanted, and we are now working on a different hair style (still working because I want longer hair). The place is also very cool, good vibe. Go ahead, look in the mirror and see if you have a great haircut or an awesomely trimmed beard. No? Then what are you waiting for dum dum? Take a chance on yourself and get to the grain exchange building, but not to exchange grain, to exchange money for a quality haircut. Are you still reading this? Wow, stubborn. It’s also great that it’s super close to home for me, but I’d drive across the city if they ever move. Sometimes it takes a few day to get it but always worth any wait. Amazing!

Always a consistently great experience here. Cara is friendly and extremely professional. Takes the time to really make it personal and top quality as opposed to churning another customer through the door. Very punctual and an extremely cool set up in an old building downtown with lots of character. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
