We had the pleasure of going to this barber shop. My son needed a hair cut but the barber shop we usually go to in Surrey was busy. We called Sizzlino’s to see if we could get in. They didn’t hesitate to let us know that they would take us in. We got there in about 20 minutes and had the chance to we met the owner and he took us in right away. My 4 year old loved his hair cut. We told the owner that our 2 year old didn’t like anyone to touch his hair. He told us let’s get him on the chair. So I sat with him and the owner gave him a nice cut and my son was good and sat through his first hair cut. I would like to thank the owner for getting us in right away on a Friday afternoon. We live in Surrey but will for sure make the trip to Burnaby, great service.

I went there back in May! I took the 160 Kootenay Loop Down there! If you take public transit, it is close to public transit routes, the 130 Brentwood/Phibbs Exchange along Willingdon and the bus routes along Hastings such as the 160! But most importantly, the haircut was great! I haven’t been there in a while but I will try to find a time to go back because the place is great!

Sizzlino's is the first off, the best barbershop in Burnaby hands down! Adam has been cutting my hair for years now and has even faded me for most of my UFC fights. The shop is clean and has a great vibe. Everytime I go I have really engaging interesting discussions with other business owners, entertainers, athletes and of course all of the barbers working there. One thing that always scares me when working with a barber is wether or not theyll mess up my line. In all the time I have beeen getting cut by Adam and Moe they have NEVER, NOT ONCE MESSED MY LINE UP! Also do yourself a favour and get a hot towel, you'll thank me later. Best fade in the city, best shop in the city, best vibe in the city.

They will take you right away (No booking needed). If you want to get a luxury hair cut for a good price, then you definitely should come here. This shop is a pretty significant cultural service for the community. When I walk in I always get a smile, by a staff that care and engage with their clients. The cuts are top notch, Moe and the crew always does an outstanding job so there's never a thought about going elsewhere. Great to see such a well run local business, with serious entrepreneurs doing community work. This place is an anchor of south Burnaby. If you haven't been, you should definitely go for a cut and test out their skills yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Barber with the toque did not clean/dust hair off of me when the haircut was finished. Hair was left all over my shoulder, legs, ears, face... like aren't you suppose to clean me up?? also the cut was 40.. it says on your website that it's 30 + tax. So why did I get charged 40 and it wasn't even the owner cutting my hair?? I just asked for a basic haircut. The cut wasn't bad nor great either so not sure what to say. A bit of professionalism and cleanliness would be appreciated since I'm paying $40 for a basic cut.

The owner of this place takes pride in what he does and uses all the tools to his disposal for a wonderful hair care experience with some mellow jazz playing in the background. Went there for a free birthday haircut and shave as advertised on Facebook and will go there on a regular basis. I have not met anyone who does a more detailed and thorough haircut. Took my son here today for his post-COVID haircut. My wife first took him here for his last one 3 months ago and they did an awesome job so of course I wanted to check them out myself. While Gabriel worked his magic on my son, I chatted up the man himself Adam who is very personable. I opted to get a beard fade (first timer) since I was already there and Adam did an amazing job so I opted to have him do my dome too. He made my previous trims look embarrassing in comparison. We'll be regulars here and I'd encourage anyone to try them out. A great vibe with a genuine and talented group of people.

I had Kurtis who was great! I love how detailed he was and took his time . My pet peeve with getting my haircut is some places take like 10 mins and are done. Obviously, it depends what you need but Kurtis spent 10 mins or even more just on the back of my head alon.I appreciate it cause I know he wanted to make my hair look as good as possible. Which also tells me that he cares! I also like that all the barbers work together, Kurtis called over other barbers to get a 2nd opinion a couple times. Which also tells me that everyone cares not just Kurtis lol. Highly recommend. Also all the barbers are chill.

Their Sunday hours state open till 5pm on their website. My husband showed up at 3:57 for a 4:20pm appointment after driving 45 + minutes from White Rock and they were closed. No one called to say they were closing early nothing. Very disappointed. 06/30 - updated review I have changed from 1 to 5 stars as I got a prompt reply on my review, and my husband has been there before and their service was excellent. We were just disappointed we had a family shoot the next day, and it was super difficult to find a barber on a Sunday at 4pm that would be available. My husband has agreed to give their shop another try.

This place is one of the best barber shops I've ever been to! The staff is nice, the location is good, and the fades and beard work they do is top level! I'm there 2-3 times a week and I won't be stopping anytime soon! This "Sizz" the real deal! Haha, see what I did there?
