Interesting place that made me somewhat uncomfortable. The staff were nice but nobody was wearing a mask. The stylist basically told me she was a COVID denier and made me feel self conscious for wearing a mask. They only take cash (I should have seen that as a warning sign) and therefore have a private ATM in the shop, so it cost me $2.50 to withdraw the cash to pay for my cut. The stylist was very very nice but inexperienced and I had to ask her fix several things. Then when got home and looked closer in the mirror, I had to trim a few spots and get my beard trimmer out to clean up around my ears. Overall it was not a positive experience.

Got an amazing taper-fade from Ehab the barber today! I can confidently say Ehab and Moe are two of the most skilled barbers I have come across and the taper-fade I got today was the best haircut I have ever gotten anywhere! Ehab and Moe both put in a lot of professional care and detail in their craft and truly give you the best experience possible. The atmosphere was also very positive, the shop was super clean and the other barbers there (Noah, Moussa and Greg) are all super friendly and helpful (Covid safety measurements were also properly followed). The barber academy next door also offers great quality haircuts by the students, for free! Freshcuts is a hidden GEM in Burnaby.

Very nice staff with great atmosphere. First time coming here & the owner gave me a complimentary facial detox aswell as a discounted threading since they weren't too busy near closing. Moussa who did my hair paid great attention to detail & did not rush whatsoever & gave me one of the best haircuts I have recieved in Vancouver & even styled my hair after. I have had $50 cuts which didn't look nearly as good as this, these are great prices for the extreme quality & effort they put in. Will return!

I saw an ad, and went to try the free hair cut, it was exam day for the stylist, she asked what style I want, I told her any style you like or needed for your exam as I'm not picky, she started a style, but later was told by the instructor that she did it wrong and that he had no choice but to fail her unless she can fix it, so she had to change the style right away. I was expecting half an hour maybe 45 min for the hair cut, as my hair wasn't that long, it ended up almost an hour and a half. She did do an amazing job, and super detailed.. Service from the stylist and the instructor were super friendly and professional.

If you and your kids are interested in getting a fade or something specific this is the place to go and it cost less than my local salon so I am very very pleased! When my brother in law told told me about a new barber shop down the street from my place, I told him I’d give it a shot. MAAAAAAN!!!!
