When I first went to get my haircut from Carlos, the owner, I was nervous because I have a large scar on my scalp from a recent brain surgery. He was very careful, slowly clipping while making sure he wasn't hurting me. He continues to cut my hair with the same care today. Every haircut ends with a nice hot towel over the scalp for a clean refreshed feeling. The shop is a great addition to the Burnaby neighbourhood. It's a modern, red and white theme, with confortable chairs and, music and / or a movie on the television while you wait on a beautiful red sofa. There is rarely a wait as you can book appointments online, fives days in advance.

Went there for the first time for my 11-year-old son, who has autism and HATES getting a haircut. Greazy was amazing with him, and managed to give a fantastic haircut even though my son sat with his head down almost the entire time (playing on my iphone through the clear plastic window in the cape!). It's the first time any barber has been able to cut my son's hair into an actual style. We showed Greazy a photo of what my son liked, and we got exactly what we wanted. All the guys there were so kind and friendly. Really talented and professional barbers in a casual atmosphere. Definitely will be our barber shop from now on.

I've been going to Blurred for a year. I've been cut & shaved by Carlos and other members of the blurred team like Jay. I've never had a bad shave or trim and I go every two weeks. The shop is clean with upbeat beats and a friendly atmosphere. They take cash, debt, and credit which is great because a lot of shops are cash only.

It has been over 8 years since I got my first cut and beard trim from Carlos and I am so thrilled to watch his career progression from humble beginnings to owning his own shop. His dedication to his craft and his customers is not only apparent in his own work, but also clearly instilled in the rest of the barbers that work at his shop. All of them are good humans who give great haircuts. Like a classic barbershop, their doors are open to all clientele as long as negativity gets left at the door. The owner always greets customers and tries to create a welcoming environment. The other barbers also go out of their way to welcome and chat with customers. I have never left disappointed. I've changed my hairstyle multiple times here, and each barber knows exactly what needs to be done in order to achieve the look I was going for.
