This is a high quality business that combines the classic feel of an old-school barber shop with the modern vibe of a trendy young men’s hair salon. There are a lot of excellent barbers here and you really can’t go wrong with anyone, but Meron is my go-to guy. The attention to detail is exceptional. They will listen to what you want and then deliver, regardless of what you’re looking for. Meron cleaned me up before my engagement photos and also before my wedding and made me look like a million bucks. Bring cash as that is the primary form of payment accepted. TVs so you can watch whatever sporting event is on. Better than Khronos which is probably their biggest competitor in the area. Loyal to these guys now.

Been coming here since they've opened. Really good barbers the whole lot of them. Things do get busy on Saturday afternoons so I suggest coming on a weeknight as they're open until 7PM on certain days. These guys are quick and as long as you tell them how you want your haircut they'll provide.

Hands down the best place for a man to get their hair cut! They take the time to do every little detail to make sure you look the best that you can be and every haircut is completed with a hot foam shave for the back of your neck. One of the last true old-school barber shops. Bigscreen tvs are everywhere too for you to watch while you're being pampered. Wouldn't get my haircut anywhere else. Just make sure you bring cash as there's no debit/credit.

I have been coming here for at least 3 years. I think every barber there has cut my hair more than once. Before I started having my hair buzzed they always did a great trim. Since I started buzzing it they have always done it evenly with no stray hairs sticking out. The prices have only changed slightly over the past 3 years. I highly recommend this barbershop!

He took this into his own hands and gave me exactly what I wanted. Might I add, this was my first time going to Walkers Barber Shop, and I will certainly go back. I am bad at remembering names but I have worked with 3 barbers there and they all have been really awesome. The barbers are more interested in watching soccer than cutting your hair! My barber was continually watching a per-recorded game while cutting my hair, but then stopped not once, not twice, but five times to change and fight with his PVR as it had caching problems. As a customer you are stuck sitting there because if you complain imagine the type of hair cut you would get. This has happened to me on three occasions. I was even more concerned about my haircut if his team loss the match....If you want an average haircut, for an average price, but totally crappy service go here!

This experience with them was the worst I have ever had. The staff is not enthusiastic about their work, and verbally complain about their customers in Arabic. I think they felt that I didn’t understand what they were saying about me but I understood every word. Whenever I try to explain to them what I want with my haircuts they never listen and always do what they feel is best. I walked out today feeling horrible because of their haircut, it was extremely rushed and sloppy. I will definitely not be returning and I’m writing this review so you don’t go either.

I got a fade. Left some hair on my neck. Did not do the shave that well. The fade was un even on both sides. I called ahead and told me that a Fade and Line up was 18 dollars. Guy more interested in watching their sports then paying attention. And Rushy. When they were done, told me 20 for the cut and 18 for the line up LOL I gave him 40 knowing that I was never returning. So many other places for a better cut quality and for 18 dollars for everything. Live and learn I guess... It is a nice shop tho I will give it that with comfy chairs.

I drive over a half hour every time just to come to this barber because they have a good atmosphere, great prices, but most importantly they give a great haircut, and take the proper time to make sure its done right. First time at Walkers barbershop yesterday, which also happened to be their first day reopening after being closed for the last few months due to COVID. They were recommended to me by a number of members of the Burlington Dads Facebook group. I checked in around 09:40, was given a buzzer and then waited in my car. There were probably 20 guys in line ahead of me when I arrived. Make sure to put your name and phone number on their list, rather than waiting in line. They will either give you a buzzer or call you on your cell when it’s your turn. I was called in just after 11. The service and the cut were fantastic! $28 for a cut and service of this quality, including a straight razor on the neck and around the ears is a great price! Payment is cash only. They also don’t accept bookings in advance. It’s first come first serve, so expect a bit of a wait. You can always grab a coffee at Tim Hortons next door and relax in your car, rather than standing in line. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend them!

I did not know a trim was 4 inches off my head when I specifically asked for a half a inch trim! The barber thought he was sheering a sheep.

A barbershop is the quintessential part of the community, a place to talk, discuss current affairs, gossip and just a little male bonding without the addition of alcohol :) This place is no different. Friendly staff, lively atmosphere. great, and I mean "great" cuts and inexpensive, no nonsense. I used to love that they had soccer at n the TVs in the background, these guys are so passionate about the sport it made for a great atmosphere. Apparently, someone complained about it and now they have CP 24 (BORING) on all TVs. Bring back the soccer Mr. Manager, bring back the atmosphere. This place is my staple for a haircut going forward.

Worst barber experience I've ever had. The reviews and pictures looked good enough that I decided to head over with my groomsmen to get a shave on my big day. They used dull blades and completely butchered our faces. When they were done I was bleeding all over my face and neck, and had a huge gash over my lip. Thank goodness the Shopper's Drug Mart next door employs a couple of angels who were able to cover it up for my wedding day (after plenty of my own cleanup back at the hotel room). I didn't realize until it was too late that they didn't have any sharpeners for the blades. I can't comment on the haricuts, but don't let these guys go anywhere near you with a straight edge.

Do not go to Meron he runed my haircut. I went in with long hair just wanting a trim and I think Meron do not know how to cut hair because one side of the hair was noticeably longer than the other. When I went back to fix he didn't own his mistake and acted unprofessional. He knew he did a poor job. He ruined my 8 month long growth. Beware!!

Today I came in for a haircut, eyebrows, and beard trimming. The haircut was not done as I requested. There was way too much hair removed then anticipated or discussed prior to the haircut. There were services they were not able to provide that are found at several other locations, such as trimming finer details around eyebrows. For the cost of a haircut,and facial hair trimming it was definitely not worth it. To add, I was there for almost 3 hours. I ended up going to a place down the road immediately after to fix everything up.

I got a decent cut but the barber pushed my hairline back and when I got to the register the guy said it was $41. The wall behind him clearly said $25. I didn't argue I just pulled out $42 and apologized that I couldn't tip more than a dollar, although who would've thought a haircut would cost that much, then one of the other guys interrupted and told me to go next door and get cash back. I walked out. Needless to say I'm never going there again.

If you are looking for a shop that the barber asks how your day is, how is your mom and general chit chat this isn’t the place. Personally i like to sit down and relax and explain what I want done and have it done properly without forced conversations. Refuse to do a beard trim because I'd have to remove my mask and they are under covid precautions. Understandable. But the customer beside me is getting his haircut without wearing a mask at all. I go to pay. They take cash only. No cards. No signs that say so either. So I had to go across the street to an ATM. I thought they were worried about covid and cash isn't sanitary?

I felt the need to write this. I cant find a SINGLE BARBER who isn't afraid to touch my cauliflower ear and move it around like it ain't no thang. I walked into walkers barber a year ago and although I don't live near their location anymore, I make a purpose to go out that way so I can get my hair cut there. It doesn't matter if you have banham or anyone else. All of them can cut hair, and they sure don't tip toe around my deformed ear. That's the way to cut hair ladies and gentlemen. Fearlessly. If you're into watching sports on TV, hearing a little multi-cultural conversation and being dealt with thoroughly, go here now. I would not recommend any other barber than these guys. 100

After going around to a few different barber shops this one is by far the best. There is always more than just a few guys working, lots of TV's and the staff is nice. I've been to some others before, where the OWNER asks and even rudely tells you to post a review and to give it a 5 star rating. So don't be fooled by other barbers 5 star ratings. Just brought my daughter here for a shaved design on the back of her neck. We showed them the picture and they had us wait for Ronny who does the designs. He seemed confident he could do it and didn't mention any concerns. The result was awful. It's not symmetrical and he couldn't get the full design in because he started too low on her neck.... Disappointed. Won't return.

Overall really good experience here. It's always packed, but you never wait long because they have many chairs, and they always have several people working on Saturdays. The most I have ever waited was 5-10 minutes, downfalls are that they have no debit, cash only. Not a huge deal though, they take great care in doing haircuts. They let people decide who is next, which can get slightly awkward sometimes. Other than minor gripes, I would definitely recommend this establishment

The most awfully run business in town! Who turns customers away an hour before the posted closing time? They do give good cuts but do not give a @%!$ about their customers. The hours on the door should say Open - whenever we feel like actually getting out of bed to get here or depends on how late the party went last night, and... Closed - whenever we feel like it. Too many times that we have gone out of our way to get there at least an hour before the posted closing time only to be turned away because 'we only have 2 barbers in'. Only 2 other people waiting in line and it was 1hr 15mins before 7pm closing time. Absolute garbage. On the flip side you can go back the next morning to be there at the open time on the door and have to sit in the parking lot for 1/2 an hour until someone decides to show up. Many other places in town that can give the same cuts and will actually even stay a bit late to fit in their last customers. That is how you do business.

If you want to get a haircut were they speak a different language between each other and laugh at customers this is the place to go. More interested in the soccer game on TV then service. To top it off the young guy I believe his name was Meron? ! Pointed out my hair was going grey. Rudest customer service I have ever had. Overall experience at this barber shop is sub-par, the staff is very bored and lacks enthusiasm about their profession. The staff constantly takes breaks from cutting hair to engage in conversation with one another and speak Arab/Assyrian dialect to bad mouth their costumers believing they don't understand (although I understand both languages). The barbers are very unprofessional when cutting hair, rather then listening to costumers they simply do what they believe is best and seem to always cut your hair to short or do a scrappy job. Very few barbers that work in this establishment understand and fulfil their costumers requests. Finally rather than improving the quality of their work and customer services the owner of the shop simply responds with poor apologies, if you read any other review you can see the owner simply defends the shop and ignores their mistakes and issues which will likely happen with this review. So if your looking for a quick, unprofessional cut, this may be the place to go but if you any sense of style in your hair I suggest you take your business else where such as Khronos Barbershop or even Great clips (yeah its that bad). I look forward to seeing change in this shop for I really do want it to be a better business but the owner will most like respond with a very poor and lousy response. Edit: Once again the owner responds with a poor statement avoiding the issues in their shop and redirects the matter at hand, I'm not promoting anything and I have said nothing bad or remotely offensive about either culture, I simply stated I understand what was being said. I find you lack of responsibility simply immature and childish, I hope you can grow and develop as a adult in the future so you can improve your shop.

Been coming here regularly. They do some extra details like a neck shave. Though that doesn't matter much to me. What keeps me coming back is they do a great job, and they're less expensive than everywhere else. It's cash only, but worth the minor hassle. Used to stop by First Choice on my way home. But they bumped their price for a men's cut up to $26, then add on tax and their card system asking for a tip. And most of the time there can be a wait. This Walkers Barber Shop is $21 cash tax included. I've had to wait a couple minutes only once.

This barbershop is on my route to and from work so i decided to try it and it has good reviews.Haircut was ok but i would not recommend getting the shave or straight razor done. The barber presses way to hard with the razor, i have 2 cuts one is small but 1 is pretty large and looks like a scar, my skin feels irritated after the shave. I have had many straight razor shaves before, this one was the worst in 10 yrs. my face was butchered. He also sprays the aftershave right in your face mouth, eyes. Also uses the razor on certain areas with no shaving cream. Not professional at all. I dont think i will go back but i will definetly not be getting a shave

Went in for a low zero fade.. any amateur barber would assume that means high .. without asking me she immediately took the fade all the way up and litterally cut everything off.. ill be wearing a hat for 3 weeks.. stay away from the lady in the front.. my god.

I get there and the door is locked, they open the door to tell me there not taking any more customers today (place is still open for 90 minutes). I moved from Scarborough to Oakville and was looking for a new barber which I thought I would never find and would have to make the trek back to Scarborough ever week for a cut (Scarborough has all the best barbers in my opinion), but to my surprise the barbers at Walkerline barbershop compared but beat the east side with customer service!!!... I had to ask the barber one time if i should come back after the game was done because he was soo distracted. The same guy ended up stabbing me in the forehead with his scissors.
