No frills hair cuts. They know their hair. There tends to be a line up. I walk by on my way home from work every night so I stop in when the line up isn't terrible. It is definitely a 'man den' atmosphere. They have some of the best prices in town and have always given me a top notch hair cut. They are necessarily the friendliest, but I don't need conversation when I get my hair cut. They are conveniently located and priced affordably, offering good hair cuts. What's not to like!

Best local barber! This is a very popular place to locals to get there bi-weekly/monthly haircuts. The majority of the clientele is men however they do have professional hairstylists that work mainly with women's hair. This is definitely the place to go if you want quick affordable service.

Been here a handful of times and the only downside has been the wait time because only 1 barber is there. Wish they would always have at least 2 at all times, but I guess when u run a good business you are busy so can't blame them for that . Recommend for men and surprisingly I saw a woman also get her hair cut and dye done here and the guy seemed to know what he was doing since she was quite happy with it . Btw the guy working with the blonde hair gave the best overall experience / service. Didn't catch his name.

Recently discovered this place when looking for a new hairdresser, while it is a Barber Shop there is a stylist who cuts women's hair. Nery is an amazing hairdresser! He is the only person who cuts my bangs the way I like them and he does a great cut! He recently did blonde highlights for me and they look so good! Still growing out my hair from a haircut I didn't ask for. I thought I was specific enough by giving clipper guard sizes for the sides.This particular barber didn't know how to cut the top. He was not good with scissor cutting but good with fading. Every barber should be able to cut any hair type and not practicing on new customers.

Moved to the area recently and went here for a haircut. I was happy with the job they did and came back today for another one. I work in Richmond so sometimes withtraffic I don't get home very early. I arrived 20 mins before closing, they had front door fully open and they still turned me away. I even wore a hat all day today because I didn't want to have gel in it. Nery Monzon is a gem. I don't ask him how to do my hair, I sit down get comfy and let him do his thing. I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm always super happy with his workmanship and attention to detail, especially with the zero fade and bead trim ????. The person who cut my hair seemed to be pretending he knew what he was doing. He struggled to even hold the scissors. Buzz on the sides was uneven and not symmetric. Sideburns weren’t even. Trim on top was patchy. It was easily the worst haircut I have ever received.

Don’t go there while they are about to close. I asked them should i come at this particular time (5pm) they said yes. I told him to do skin fade, he said we are about to close so he can’t.I don’t know why they told me to come late evening when i was asking them that i can come in the morning as well.so don’t go there between 5-6pm. I’d been to many of the barbershops in the area before settling on mister cutts. Ethan’s my barber but Reno, Danny and Nery are great. Everytime I’m there I see satisfied costumers leaving with great haircuts. I wouldn’t hesitate to let any of them cut my hair. They are very versatile and listen carefully to what you want unlike some shops I’ve been to. The environment is friendly and professional. they’re always having a good time laughing and joking around with clients. The prices are competitive and the hair products sold in house are some of the best I’ve used. Overall amazing business, Won’t be going to another barbershop anytime soon.

I have been to Mister Cutts 3 times now and today I had my hair cut by an apprentice barber. Ruksan was very friendly, professional and did a great job! At the moment (March 14, 2021) she is still an apprentice and so she took her time to make sure she got every step right, but I have to say I was extremely happy with the end result. I'd definitely recommend letting her learn to cut hair on you. She'll be a professional in no time!

Went to this barber based on the reviews and close to home. I asked for not too short and I noticed he was cutting very short, TOO LATE, I told him that's not what I asked for, his response, if you want a girls haircut there's a salon across the street. This among a couple other responses when he took offense to being told the haircut was wrong sure showed just how rude he was. When the haircut isn't what you want they have you at thier mercy and this one sure used it. They did offer free once realized how rude the comment was but wasnt looking for a handout and I paid in full. Recap, rude, defensive, poor customer listening skills !

My son and I have been going to Reno for a couple years now. He takes his time and attention to detail. I don't even tell him what I want, I just sit down and say do your thing son. Clone that kid because the wait times can be brutal. As for the other gents cutting hair there, I know that sometimes they get frustrated because most of the guys there will just wait for Reno. Don't get frustrated. That kid has earned his rep. Instead pay attention to his attention to detail. That's what sets him apart.
