I've always gone into salon but they haven't done a better job with Pixie cut. My son suggested his barbershop as they always deal with very short hair. I'm absolutely thrilled for what I wanted Danika there did exactly that. She did a fantastic job! I'm very happy. They were also fully naked and aware of covid situation. However, the only suggestion in the light of covid that I would give is if they would sanitize the chairs, gowns etc before letting another customer use it. But from now on this is my salon! Thank you House of fades for understanding what I want and accommodating it. Why don't you guys provide basic hair coloring too like black, Brown and gray only? Humera.

Been here twice, had a great experience the first time with one of the younger barbers. My second time I got my hair cut by Reza (owner) and it was one to forget. He never seemed to take his time while cutting my hair taking multiple breaks and phone calls. I came home to find the back of my head a complete mess and not presentable. I had to visit another barber just to fix his work. You can not beat the price here however you get what you pay for.

As a female with short hair and having never been to a barber before, I came here knowing a girlfriend of mine has been seeing a barber for her short hair for years. I also saw a few reviews from women saying they had been to this shop which made me feel more comfortable in my choice. While I didn't know what clipper guard I was looking for in terms of length, I had a picture for reference and trusted the expertise of my barber. Once the cut was over, I was told I was given a #3 cut. Problem is, it was WAY too short in my opinion. Looking at comparative haircuts based on clipper length, I now know my cut should've probably been a #5 or #6 at the very least. While I also asked for a previous dye job to be cut off as part of the cut, I know I had far more than enough length in my roots to not need a cut so short. I'm also disappointed given that my barber told me they were going to err on the side of caution and could always go shorter if need be but if this was cautious, I really don't understand where we could've possibly gone from here given the point of reference I had provided. Ultimately I know it's hair at the end of the day and it will grow out but I feel like I'm forced to wear at hat at this point just to cover up how much I hate my hair. **Edit - the owner has reached out to apologize and has offered to correct the cut/shape in a few weeks once there's enough growth to work with. Have added a star as I appreciate the customer service effort.

You ever get a clean fade from a shop but then the next few times you go there it seems like they can't replicate the cut they did for you the first time? This IS NOT that place. Quite dissatisfied with my cut. Got home and checked in the mirror, seems like just a uniform buzz most of the way up and then just a big poofy tuft left at the top. I don't know if this is what the guy was going for, but the edges look jagged and overall not very smooth. Communication seemed hard; don't think the guy knew what I was asking for. I wanted a professional look, not to show up for work on Monday looking like a highschooler. Tons of hair all over the place afterward as well, on my face, in my shirt, etc. One of my least favorite barber shop experiences. Sorry to rain on the parade of unbelievably glowing reviews (the reason I went), but this is my experience and impression. Edit: elevator at work has mirrored walls. The back is not squared off. Looks slanted. Wife confirmed.

my boyfriend got a hair cut from here today. for back story, he’s super sensitive about getting really short cuts because he used to have cancer, and so it’s pretty traumatizing when he gets super shaved cuts. he went in and was very specific to whoever was cutting his hair about just trimming it and to keep it all decently long especially on the top. this poor guy came out almost completely bald and he started crying in the car. he told me he specified multiple times not to cut anything too short and the barber did not listen. he was too embarrassed and upset to go back and ask for a refund or something. the guy was nice but just did not listen whatsoever. very heart breaking to see him like that.

I came in from Calgary and searched for days for a barber. The reviews here are good so I thought I would give it a go. The staff seemed friendly and the atmosphere was good. However my "fade" is more of a line down my head. I saw some decent cuts come out of the shop but whoever did mine didn't do a good job. I would suggest going to the people who are recommended via reviews. Not the worst experience but not thrilled with my cut at all

I Called and made an appointment for a cut and a straight razor shave. I ended up with clippers a then straight razor then an electric razor. I still had blotchy 1/8” stubble in multiple spots on my face. I literally drove straight to the pharmacy across the street and bought myself a razor and shaving cream. My worst experience anywhere to date. On a positive note my haircut was fine. I don’t normally write reviews but I feel they deserved this one!

So after going to the same barber for most of my life, its was extremely hard to find a new barber. My old barber ended up moving on and changing job careers. I ended up stumbling across house of fades and can say I have a good barber again. I was worried about getting my hair faded cause was never sure if id like it. Reza has such a positive attitude towards his business and costumers. I would recommend anyone looking to try something new to go to house of fades!!!
