Without a doubt the best barbershop in Delta/Surrey, maybe even Greater Vancouver. A true local gem & business. Darryl, Justin, and Kurt provide top notch service and services. Easy to book/rebook appointments, clean shop. Their cuts are always on point and an authentic barbershop experience: hot towels, straight blade line ups, the music, the conversations between barbers/clients. It is on the more pricey side vs. run of the mill shops but it's worth the price tag given their skill/experience and effort put in to make you look and feel top notch. Imagine paying $10 less somewhere else but wishing you didn't cheap out because your haircut sucked and you gotta stick with it for 2wks - 1month. Happened to me ????

I’ve been going to Kurt even before Justin opened the shop. At this point it’s not only a haircut, but a time to relax from a busy schedule. I recommend not just Kurt, but the whole team at 22. I’ve been going to Kurt so often now that there’s no talks of what haircut I’m getting. I come in for my time slot which I booked online. Sometimes may have to wait a couple minutes if it’s busy but that’s understandable. Plenty of reading materials and snacks to pass the time. I’m then greeted by Kurt and we proceed to his chair. From the moment I sit to when the cape is removed, Kurt provided exceptional hospitality. They accommodate different payment methods. Time and time again he has proven himself through his works of art and for that, I will always be coming back regularly. Give the guys at 22 a try. You won’t regret it. 5/5

I am not very knowledgeable about hair, and I usually like a pretty simple look/cut. When I walked in, I could tell that I may not be inside their usual demographic. Nevertheless, the barber who helped me (Elliot) was very kind and polite. He made excellent recommendations and was gentle. Most importantly, he asked good questions that made me feel like he was truly trying to get to the heart of what I wanted, instead of imposing a pre-conceived idea onto my hair. The end product was really good and I was happy with the result (as was my wife!). I liked how professional the team was, and how clearly they worked well with one another. I would recommend this business.

Where should I even begin? The barber was 30 minutes late to the APPOINTMENT. I had to cancel my full appointment which included a haircut and beard lineup because I had an another appointment to make. Then, as he was lining up my hair, he pushed it back much further than it should be. He didnt follow the previous line whatsoever. I complained instantly. Worst part was I wasnt even facing the mirror. He said he would give me a discount because he accepted that he made a mistake, yet he charged me full price. I was so disappointed. They promise one thing but dont go through with it. Overall, worst experience Ive ever had at a barbershop and they will not be having my business ever again.

A bit pricey and the guys are young, which isn't necessary a bad thing. I asked for a business professional haircut, low maintenance, and asked for it to be short. I figure if I'm gonna pay a guy 50 dollars it should be because he knows a thing or two about hair. My barber was nice and good at what he does, but he didn't listen to my request. I asked for a short, professional haircut, low maintenance. 45 minutes later I had long hair. He wanted me buy a blow-dryer and blow-dry my hair back every morning, and use product. I don't like product and I told him that. I wanted to trust him, and also get back to work. Mostly the get back to work, I'm insanely busy during the day. It looked good as I got up out of the chair... But as I expected, by the time I arrived to the office my hair had broken free of its pathetic restraints and had resumed sabotaging my existence. I hated my haircut for a week and when I finally had time to get it fixed he charged me 25 dollars despite me being quite clear that I was exceptionally unhappy with the haircut and that I simply wanted him to cut my hair short like I had asked. In the end he gave me a decent haircut but I could have paid 20 dollars for this exact cut at great clips r any other chain haircut, and had it the first time. He was a nice guy though and fun to chat with. If he had given me the touch-up for free this would be a five star review but because he specifically chose to give me a high maintenance long cut when I specifically asked for low maintenance short cut, and then charged me for the fix, it's a solid 2 for me boys. Ps: if you know exactly what you like, and you like dogs, then this place is probably good. I love dogs but I hate hair. I wanted help and got taken advantage of. I paid a total of 75 dollars to get a haircut worth 20.

I was a bit skeptical of a 5/5 star barber shop on Google Maps. Especially when you look at a lot of the reviews they only have one or two reviews total. I was pleasantly surprised that #22 lived up to the expectations. Justin did an amazing job and helped me shed my COVID winter coat. The guys in the store were all great to talk too, and I felt quite safe overall. I have been to barbershops good, bad, and ugly across Canada and I would say this is one of the best I've been too in a while. My only complaint would be that if your charging $40 for premium cuts, you should also be taking credit. Cash only is a pain, especially in 2020. That's just me being picky though. Overall, go see Justin and he will take good care of you.
