Great service. I’m not much of a talker when it comes to getting my hair cut, but it was the perfect amount. I was in and out in 15 minutes and I was pretty happy with the result from my instructions: “I’d like it shorter. Don’t really care how else it looks.” I’m not very picky so it worked out great.

The barber knows how much to talk and interact with you, nothing feels forced or awkward. It's too bad Moses sold the shop. Prices went up and quality went way down. One would get a better haircut doing it oneself in mirror with a pair of clippers. This is what happens when people with no skill think cutting hair is easy.

Nice place - Lots of parking, lots of staff. Good choice of sofa's for waiting (close to or away from, the music). I prefer the away from myself. I've used the services of two of the staff (I do have a fav!), but there are several to randomly use, or specifically prefer. The resultant cuts get positive reviews from my SO and colleagues.

I'm sorry but the people seem cool and iys a legit atmosphere but I just left there and I'm headed to a different barber to fix me up. The guy who did my cut seemed like he didn't have a clue what he was doing. Left hair all on my neck, my ears, had no clue how to line up a beard either. Soon as it started I just wanted to leave. Sorry if I was the 1 bad experience but it was super not good.

When you work on the road, finding a good barber in all the different towns is a constant struggle. This place looks sketchy from the outside but once i stepped into the building i knew it was legit. I forgot the name of the barber that did my fade but it was done really well. He was the bald bearded guy in the back. $21 is not a bad price to look crisp. This place only accepts cash but there is a 7 eleven next door with an ATM so no worries if you forget to bring some. I give 4 stars but if they accepted debit it would be a perfect 5

Great barber shop. Sam and staff are very easy going, know what they are doing and the prices are very reasonable. It's a bit hard to find the entrance as the building is undergoing some construction but just follow the signs through the parkade and once you're there you won't be disappointed.

Great experience here today. Visiting from Florida, didn't find out until it was my turn that it was a cash only shop, so I said I'd have to go get cash and be back. The gentleman in charge said no problem, he'd still give me the haircut and I could come back later to pay him (and the haircut was nicely done, just as I asked). While this was going on, he was also taking care of an elderly customer with dementia (who was struggling to remember where he was and how to get back to where he lived), calling him a cab and paying for it himself. Definitely a good barber but a better person.

I could give this place a 10, but I have seen some staff not very friendly and wanting to do the hair cut they want and not what the customer requests. I get it if you have a suggestion make sound like a suggestion not like an order. Other staff are very friendly and listen to you with your concerns. I'm from out of town (Vancouver). There's only a couple of barbers in my own city that can do decent skin fades. Esquire gave a great cut and I would have rated 5 stars, but the barber in Vancouver charges $15 for skin fades. This place is nearly double the price @ $25. Hence, 4 stars.

I have booked appointments about 3 times with taher and every time my son is not in the chair until about 20 minutes after the appointment . I understand you are busy, however the point of booking an appointment is so we don’t have to sit and wait 20 min before getting a hair cut. I won’t be booking any more with esquire an taher.
