Nice shop, but prices are steep. The place is well maintained and complimentary drinks is a nice touch, but prices are not compatible to other places nearby. A hair trim for an adult and child (both males with short hair) should not cost $70+. I'm not sure I'd go back due to pricing alone. Aside from that, it's a warm and welcoming place.

I’ve tried quite a few shops to find the best looking cut in the gta, these guys nail it. I always see Kash and he does an awesome job everytime. The other barbers do great from what I’ve seen as well. Prices are great. Highly recommend this place if you want somewhere to feel relaxed and comfortable while getting a phresh cut.

Awesome spot. From the moment I walked in, the entire experience was amazing. The staff were friendly and even offered Espresso. The atmosphere was great and the room was clean and welcoming. Very rarely do you see such a high level of service at other Barber Shops. Also, Joseph always hooks up the freshest fades! If you're in the area (or even if you're not) ask for Joseph and he will not disappoint. Will definitely be coming back again and again!

I came in for a haircut and beard trim with Tin on Wednesday April 17th at 6pm. Tin barber skills are on point, as I got an excellent bald fade and a bit off the top. Thoroughly rated my cut. The reason I gave 2 stars though, is his time management. He didnt allot enough time for my complete beard trim, so he couldnt line up my upper cheek and furthermore couldn't wash my hair. I guess he had clients waiting behind me and wanted to get to them before closing. He whispered in my ear if he could skip the wash to save time. I understood the whole situation, so I was like that's cool. Tin is trying to get a chair in the place, so productivity will go a long way in the owner/managers eye. The total of the haircut and beard trim was $60 with tip and tax included. For that price I expected a little more. I was hoping to get more of a finished look and it was a little disappointing especially with all the excellent reviews. I am writing this on vacation, so that is the reason I didn't come in sooner to complain. Maybe when I come back I can talk to a manager about the whole experience. Tin is a good guy, looking to get established so I respect that, and know that the barbers mark is a quality shop. You have my number in your system, so I can easily bump up this rating, if you can reach out to me. I will be back in the Burlington area tomorrow evening. *******UPDATE******* Danny, the owner of barbers mark called me Sunday Afternoon and offered a complementary cut and beard trim. I will be going in for this appointment in mid May. I truly appreciate this responsibility from the owner and respect that he personally reached out to me. I've been here twice since it opened as I get my haircut weekly and the shop has only been in business less than one month. I went today to be told that they were booked, but only had 2 barbers on staff and I went at 3pm and the shop didn't close for another 2.5hrs (5:30 close time). If you can't staff appropriately and you charge premium pricing of $35 for a regulate hair cut, then people won't be back. I will say my experience with my barber on the precious two visits was good, but definitely won't be back as a result of today.

I have come to realize that cutting hair is an art. For years I waited for my coupons in the mail and for years I came out the chain hair cutting establishments looking like forest gump. No matter what I asked for I was shaved to the wood and clipped to the bone. One of my last attempts I did an experiment to ask for something I normally did not, hair to be left longer ...nope forest gump again. I have been coming here with my son now for about 6 months and get the cut I want. Clean place, great staff, with a price point that matches what you get.

These guys have a very nice shop. They are always very busy. I am a regular customer and have been going there for about a year. I used their online appointment service. I recently started using their pay in advance online system as well. So that was my mistake! I paid in advance and missed my appointment. This was the first time I had every missed an appointment. They charged me for the missed appointment even though I was rebooking the appointment. As a reguar customer, I fined it to be rather short sighted to penalize a regular customer in this manner. I told Dennis the owner that if he was still going to charge me for the missed appointment, that he would lose a customer. He said that this was their policy. I'm astonished at this treatment. I guess they are so busy that they don't need to retain their existing return customer. One mistake and you're out. Nice hair cuts but DON'T pay in advance in case you slip up and miss your appointment .

Always get a good cut from whoever I pick as my barber. I try and go to the same person for consistency but if I'm schedule restricted I know I'll get a good cut from whoever is available. My only gripe is that they are ALWAYS LATE. My last few cuts they have never been on time. Totally fine with a few min here and there but when your phone is blowing up telling you that your barber is waiting and in reality they are 10+ min behind schedule it isn't a good experience.

My son needed a haircut, his normal place was fully occupied and so we drove around to find a place for his haircut! We came across The Barber’s Mark, they were closing and were fully booked... BUT the owner, Dennis, offered to work past closing to accommodate us. That won me! The location is very central, nearby the grocery stores and it’s easy to get to. It’s a clean shop. very nice setup, very comfortable and inviting. Has many stylist chairs with two shampoo sinks. The guys/gals who work there seem to get along with one another really well, we felt welcomed and amongst friends. My son waited patiently. He was a bit nervous, he is very particular about his haircuts, and has only trusted the one place for his haircuts. Dennis, was very friendly, very professional and very meticulous about the haircut. He took his time! The haircut was extremely well done, the hairlines were precisely cut, the fade was done with so much precision. Definitely worth the money spent! One of the more expensive haircuts and beard trims I've gotten, but the quality can't be beat. Been to a couple other barber shops in Oakville and I hadn't had so many compliments on my hair in such a short time than going here. With a fade and beard trim/lineup it came to 45 before tip. Overall good place for a haircut but too pricey to make a regular trip.

I've been to Barbers Mark Burlington nearly a dozen times, I finally have enough of an assessment to do a proper review. THE PROS - The shop is big, nice decor, friendly staff and a variety of skill sets amongst each barber. You'll find one that will properly suit your style whether that be edgy, conservative, short hair, long hair, young and old etc... The cut itself does vary in quality but you'll quickly find who will give you the best cut for your hair type. I tried 3 - 4 different barbers at the shop and found one I preferred over the rest. THE CONS - TIMING at the shop can be an issue especially if you value your time. I've waited 20 mins even though I booked an appointment. Through my observations they tend to fall behind on their bookings either because of staff emergencies, fitting in walk-in clients or staff tardiness. COMMUNICATION is also an issue, often when I tell them what I want (depending on barber) my stipulations often go unheard. Each time I tell my barber what I want done and it's often ignored, though the quality of the cut turns out to be very good ---- the reason why I keep coming back. SUMMARY - If you are very particular about your hair, scars, bald spots etc.. you may want to think twice before coming here. If you do take the chance and it turns out badly, you should try a different staff member, some are better communicators than others. Finally, covid protocols are a bit lax at this place. Seats aren't sprayed down after each client, they accept walk-ins without proper covid screening and there are often several people waiting for their appointments that are not social distanced. Hopefully this will give you enough info to make your own decisions.

Booked for a appointment on August 25th for a haircut on Saturday August 31st. Hour before my haircut I decided to call to confirm my booking only to find out the barber isn't coming in. Receptionist insisted she left me a voicemail but I have no record in my call log from last Sunday at which I book my appointment to today. Long story short I was basically told "sorry but we're all booked and nothing can be done unless I wanna wait on a cancellation list". Myself and son have been coming to the barber's mark for about a year. I see Danny and my son sees Mikey Styles whom he loves and has become close buds with! Booking appointments here is easy and very accommodating. I had to book an appointment for my son the other day very very last minute. Although Mikey was very booked up, the receptionist took my number and said she needed to do some juggling and calls to help me get my son in. Within 5 min I received a text message indicating the time I needed and she even placed a courtesy call making sure I got the text. I urge you all to book here. They truely care about you.

I attended yesterday because my regular barber at another location was unavailable. I was assigned Toan and I explained to him that I have a scar and asked if he had experience cutting around scars. My regular barber (and others I have gone to) took the time to look before they cut and most do a pretty decent job of hiding it. Toan stated that he had experience dealing with bald spots/scars and we briefly discussed length. He then proceed to cut and buzz all the hair away from the scar leaving me with a bald spot. I wanted to immediately get up and leave but I let him finish. The hair cut isn't even (I'd post a pic if I could) and now I have to live with it until it grows in. Been going there since we discovered it a couple of years back. Staff are professional, friendly and we have found our favourite-Tony! He always takes the time and is meticulous when attending to my son’s hair...and my son has been trying many different barber’s over the years and since we found this place he doesn’t want to go anywhere else and will even wait if Tony is booked out. It’s amazing watching clients come in with various hair texture (curly ones included)and style, and leave with neat amazing hairstyles, haircut, fades, fresh looking and definitely brings out the handsomeness ????. Young kids as young as 4 ( my estimate) all the way to seniors come here and many are regular clients as I have come to recognize many of them without knowing their names. For those with beard, you need to come here...I started appreciating and respect beards after seeing how the barber’s take care of their clients beards-treated with utmost care and respect. They have free wi-fi and sufficient seating space for those who tag along. The atmosphere is rustic, modern and reflects the meticulous care and passion they have for hair. Dennis has been cutting my hair for a very long time. I have followed him from 4 different shops and finally he opened his own! No one cuts hair like this guy does. Fades, Lines and good Scissor Work. Everytime I see him I always get a hot towel shave and its awesome. Finally Burlington gets a good Barbershop. Ive since moved but I drive 45 minutes just to get my haircut by him. Thankfully he also has Tony with him who is just as awesome and has cut my hair in the past went Dennis was on vacation. Great place!! Decided to try it on my 17mon old's second haircut (first place was awful - screaming, crying, told to force his head still, she cut his ear....). Dennis was great!! Patient & gentle with my son. He took his time to blend everything correctly but did it fast (with a squirmy baby). He even followed my son as he moved (so I didn't have to hold his head still). My son didn't cry once & was filled with entertaining distractions (big screen with nursery rhyme cartoons, buttons on the car chair & snacks from home).

For the first 3 decades of my life, I was firmly a customer of establishments such as Supercuts and Cost Cutters, usually paying about $12 a haircut. Frankly, I didn't see haircuts as having much differentiation and hence didn't feel like haircuts were worth spending a premium on. However, at the recommendation of two friends, I decided to give The Barber's Mark a try, a little skeptical. Well, I came in on a weeknight right before closing. A barber by the name of Dennis greeted me and immediately started to ask what I was looking for. I said surprise me, and he then proceeded to spend the next 45 minutes doing things to my hair which I didn't know were possible. At the end of the session, it immediately became clear to me the value of "upgrading" my haircut game by going to an establishment such as The Barber's Mark. This was a year and a half ago... and I've been a loyal customer ever since. I now regularly drive 30 minutes to get all my haircut needs met at The Barber's Mark. It had become a regular occurrence that the day after getting a Premium Fade, that multiple individuals around my workplace would compliment me on my tight hair game. This gave me a lot more confidence in my overall self-presentation, and made each and every haircut that much more worth it. I would fully recommend The Barber's Mark to any individual that wants a consistently great haircut, delivered from some really enthusiastic, passionate and driven barbers. I give Barber's Mark 2 thumbs up!

Can’t go wrong with Paulo as your barber, he’s a sweetheart of a guy and always so friendly. Been coming for a year now since I moved to Burlington and I’ll continue to come. I do suggest booking appointments as they get busy. Also expect a little delay which would be my only complaint. I always arrive a few minutes early or on time and they book back to back appointments so you end up waiting 5-15 minutes after you book so just a heads up if you book and need to get somewhere after. Otherwise a perfect experience.

Poor customer service experience. I bought a beard balm and used it once only to discover that the scent, once applied, is much waxier and unpleasant than it is in the container. I brought the product back, not expecting a refund but just a straight exchange for a different balm, and was told that under no circumstances will they take back an open product. The individual I spoke to advised me that I could've tested the product in store before buying it, an option which WAS NOT offered to me 2 days earlier when I was in the store. Further to that, when I came in to buy the balm originally, I spent about 5-10 minutes talking about beard grooming, products, preferences, etc. with one of the employees, so there was ample opportunity to let me sample before buying at that point. In light of this, they were still unwilling to do an exchange and kept insisting that "next time" I should sample before buying. All in all, this was handled poorly and I was expecting a better response, especially since this is a new business in a competitive industry. There will be no "next time" for me.

Perhaps this is a one of experience; With time constraints and a great review I walked in expecting a haircut of unprecedented quality considering the $$$$ being charged for a regular cut/beard trim comes up-to $50 vs any GOOD barber shop that would charge $30-$40 MAX.... The barbers lack of experience showed like a glaring light when he remarked towards the shape of my skull and his inability to do a uniform side-fade... That is another first for me. Long story short I came in looking like a professional who needed a trim and came out looking like a 19 year old skater boy. I was not going to write this but everywhere I go, anyone I speak to, passes a sly comment on the cut to the extent my own mother disowned me (slight exaggeration), you guys get the idea.

It was my first time here today. Had to find a barber last minute as I was flying out the next day on short notice. All barbers were closed in Guelph and this one was the one that popped up.
