Paulie's is a great barbershop on Main Street. Their barbers are very friendly, and they do great cuts there. The cuts are a little pricy, hair cuts start at $40, and that is not including tips and tax. If you're looking for a cheap cut, this isn't necessarily the place to go, but if you're looking for a quality cut, then Paulie's is a good place to go. I'm not sure if Paulie's does a good cut for women, since all of their barbers, as far as I know, are men. Their barbers do a good job in creating conversation, small talk. You do have to reserve your spot, and they are pretty booked for the most part and very busy. You can reserve your space online on their website. It works for the most part. There have been moments when the website has been down. Make sure you get a confirmation email after your booking. If you do not get one, then you need to call to make sure, because their system might be down for whatever reason. Highly encourage Paulie's. Small little Barbershop along the Main Street.

Been looking for a good barber in Vancouver for a while now and finally made an appointment at Paulie's after reading the positive reviews. Now I only wonder why I waited so long to try here! Best cut ever. Paul made sure it was exactly how I asked aswell as working with my hair type to get it. The no mirror thing is a bit nerve wracking at first but he took his time and checked with me every step to ensure I was happy instead of charging through it like a mall cut. Will be going to Paul for all future cuts!

I always get wonderful experience in this barbershop. It's clean, staff are nice, polite and friendly, they follow protocol for COVID precautions, and Stella is the chillest doggo that you will ever meet. The barbers here are all good and you can't go wrong with any of them, but Darcy is my go to guy here. Darcy is friendly, very professional and very honest. He'll give you an honest advice, at times when you don't know which haircut suits you better, and i love how he does his fades and French crop.

I've met Paul (owner) couple of years ago when he was still at Belmont Barbershop on Broadway. When he left and opened Paulie's I followed. I was introduced by a friend and I since referred my friends to him. Great barbershop with professional guys that actually put effort into building an relationship with their clients. Small team of 3 as of this year so book a few days in advance for the popular time slots. I recommend this barbershop if you are looking for a long term barber and they have "refreshments". Kevin

Well, after my experience there, I will have to say that the positive reviews for Paulie's are correct. This really is a great place for a cut. It's a small place, a nice traditional barbershop (updated), in a funky part of town. William did a great job, a great cut and conversation.

They say they are all boy by appointment but does not advertise anywhere, as I walked out a hair dresser and a customer made some really rude comments towards me and I will never go there n future. Paulie’s is the best! I always had Paulie cut my hair but i havent been in 3 years (I have long grown out hair now I didnt go anywhere else). I decided to go in on a whim to trim back some excess hair length and booked last minute with Brendan. He was excellent with trimming 3 years of damaged and knotted up hair which is now a million times better along with a stellar beard trim! It's hard to find a good barber in the city. Ive been visiting Paulie's for the last year or more and am happy every single time. You can book appointments on their website which takes the guess work out of visiting. They can also trim beards (although not during COVID) without making a complete mess of them like many other barbers in the city do. Specifically Will O'Reilly does a great job.
